The toebrakes axes are actually intelligent. âBrakesâ operate both brakes unless âright brakeâ is also assigned (not Keyboard) in which case âbrakesâ becomes âleft brake.â So you get the choice of using a single axis for both or independent axes. There is no reason at all to complain about them apart from the fact that the label isnât âBrakes unless you bind right brake in which case this is left brakeâ which wouldnât fit on the screen.
Not being able to invert a throttle axis sucks. Itâs a curious situation of how one got into that mess in the first place. I wonder if you compared the axismapping.dat file in a hex editor with various invert checkboxes on and off if one couldnât identify what digits control the inversion and see if itâs possible to flip those hex values in order to check the throttle âinvert checkboxâ in hex even though itâs missing in the UI. Itâs a long shot but itâs within imagination.
