Exactly, you can use Quest Link via cable or Virtual Desktop via Wifi. Benefit of cable, if you have a sufficient cable you can charge the headset when playing. I tested both ways, virtual desktop via Wifi6 router and Quest Link via cable and in my case I don’t see any difference regarding performance or quality. Therefore I use always Quest Link via cable. Only thing I cannot recommend is to use Quest Link via Wifi (it’s basically also possible) but then the quality and performance is terrible.

The actual version of VD has 4 checkboxes. I ticked the chexkbox „environment“. I saw the checkbox you mention in some older YouTube videos but seems they extended the functionality. Now there are also options for hand tracking, keyboard and another one.

today I tried to setup passthrough with my Quest 3 using OpenXR and Virtual Desktop but without success. I am getting the pink area in the cockpit as shown in the pictures of the VR guide but no passthrough. But I am not sure if my settings in Virtual Desktop are correct.

What I did:

• Set the checkbox for “Environment” in VD. Not sure which of the 4 options is the correct one, but I assume environment is the correct one.
• Setup the passthrough color to 255,0,255 in VD an mentioned in the VR guide. I also played with the slider in the configuration dialog.
• Tried to set the environment to “passthrough” and “black”.

What I am doing wrong?

The documentation page (https://wiki.falcon-bms.com/en/manuals) still points to the 4.37.4 documentation. Is it possible to upload the updated documentation for .5?

Another question to a similar topic. I have 2 external screens connected via display port and notice sometimes a delay. Is there a setting to increase the refresh rate?
