RE: Falcon MFD Software for android tablets
Finally got it working.
I really struggled with the keyfile. I added the keycodes mentions in the OP but I also had to enter SimLeftAPUp
Somehow I couldn’t find all keycodes in FBMS but I used the keyfile editor (https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?10821-Keyfile-editor-Alpha-Release!) and finally got a proper keyfile. The network gave me a headache because the server didn’t get the right ip address.
I found that VirtualBox had created an extra network interface and the server picked that one up.
I disabled the VirtualBox network and it works flawlessly. I didn’t have to disable the firewall
PC is on ethernet , tablet off course on wi-fiThanks for this great app

RE: Newbie: What kind of performance can I expact from this setup
I do see an extra vga adapter but I searched the bios and couldn’t find any settings for that.
The NVIDIA card is shown in Falcon

RE: Newbie: What kind of performance can I expact from this setup
What monitor resolution do you have?
1920x1080(ingebouwd) // ingebouwd =built in
Also how much ram does your vga have?
Here’s what I got from the NVIDIA Configuration Screen (in Dutch, but I guess you can figure it out)
[Beeldscherm] Besturingssysteem: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit DirectX-versie: 12.0 GPU-processor: GeForce GT 705 Stuurprogrammaversie: 353.62 Direct3D API versie: 12 Direct3D functieniveau: 11_0 CUDA-kernen: 48 Kernklok: 873 MHz Shader-klok: 1747 MHz Geheugengegevenssnelheid: 1650 MHz Geheugeninterface: 64-bit Geheugenbandbreedte: 13.20 GB/s Totaal beschikbaar grafisch geheugen: 4095 MB Toegewezen videogeheugen: 1024 MB DDR3 Videogeheugen systeem: 0 MB Gedeeld systeemgeheugen: 3071 MB Video BIOS-versie: 75.19.8B.00.02 IRQ: Not used Bus: PCI Express x16 Gen2 Apparaat-ID: 10DE 104C 108610DE Onderdeelnummer: 1310 0007
U might gain some performance by looking at my hotlist and maybe re enable shaders and enjoy it in all it’s glory.
Oohh … a lot of scary regedit overclocking cpu bending stuff. I’m gaming on my work pc, so I don’t wanna take any risk … (musician, I work at home )

[SOLVED] SST software for X45
First; I’m on Windows 10 64bit.
I dusted off my X45 and decided to fly Falcon again. I found the drivers on the Saitek ftp site and they work OK.
I’m having trouble finding the right programming software. I want the pinky switch and mode switch to work as intended.I tried installing some sst software I found on the ftp server but they complain about magic mouse/keyboard not found and thus the software doesn’t work.
Does anyone know if there is working software on Windows 10 for this aging hardware?
Figured it out.
- goto saitek.com (you don’t say)
- click Downloads
- click Drivers (which I don’t want; I want the programming software, those are two separate things)
- Choose Product range -> I guess that’s Pro Flight …
- Select Product …. X45 not listed … Choose X52: lowest number, closest to X45
- Select Operating System … Windows 10 not listed Choose Windows 8.1/8/7/ and Vista 64 bit
- Two options here : Dowload Drivers and Download Software (YES! Software!)
It started downloading Smart Technology 7_0_27_13 64Bit.exe
It works … X45 detected in the software just fine:headb:

RE: Newbie: What kind of performance can I expact from this setup
Well that makes sense, I didn’t spend that much on the PC. Use it primarily for office work and making music.
Also noticed that in the BMS tutorials I watched the 3d cockpit looks a lot more 3d then mine. The central console (icp or ded, don’t remember the name) pops out of the screen when zooming in and the HUD shifts when panning around. I guess this is a TrackIR thing? But I really always enjoyed flying Falcon because of the immersion and realism. I love all the buttons pressing and switches flipping
It’s the only sim that could hold my attention mainly because I felt I was at war. The comms with wingmen, AWACS, tower. I love it.And if it looks nice, well that’s a bonus

RE: Newbie: What kind of performance can I expact from this setup
Wow! Big improvement
Disabled shaders, set Quality Level to 1 -> FPS between 60 and 70
Looks and feels very smooth. I guess for now this will be ok.Thanks !

Thanks for the quick response.
Later today I will try this and post back the results.

Newbie: What kind of performance can I expact from this setup
Hi all,
Just installed BMS with all updates.
With the default settings I get about 15-20 fps in th TE “Basic Handling”
Browsing the interwebs I get tons of different tip on how to improve fps but I have no idea what I’m doing. Don’t even know if I got a decent graphics card / pc or what kind of specs Falcon BMS needs.
I have flown lots of Falcon4 and FalconAF in the past and I really wanna get back into Falcon again.Any help is appreciated.
