I got a silly mistake to post…
When I was new I only flew Cessna and Lear Jets in FSX, circa 2010/2011, and in the F-16, for rather long time I thought PITOT HEAT read PILOT HEAT and assumed it was some kind of thing to keep the cockpit warm 😛 Didn’t know an F-ACK from a BARCAP back then, and everything was just so overwhelming. Very funny to look back on that!
not really related to learning the F-16, though, there was also this one time that this really cool guy who made a forum thread to share some funny things we do/did when we are/were new to a thing in BMS, the misconceptions we had before the fog cleared, as they can be funny to look back upon… and I mistook it and posted up a tip about using CTRL+F in the manual. Egg on face. Time keeps us all humble, no?
Cheers MrReynolds!
