I have just bought a new system and within was a MSI Z170A gaming M7 motherboard. Its also running Win 10, my HOTAS Warthog after installation would not work as it was not being recognised by the system when it came to updating the firmware it would fail every time. So I contacted Thrustmaster for advice but after 5 days of backwards and forwards it was still the same. I borrowed my sons Win 10 laptop installed the Warthog drivers onto it plugged in and updated the firmware on the laptop. Then uninstalled the Warthog drivers from my new system removed all files associated with the HOTAS rebooted reinstalled the drivers followed normal install instructions. Now the Warthog works fine but I cannot update the firmware on the new system. I believe its related to the mboard drivers and USB ports. Hope this helps anyone having same sort of issue.
