Will the F-52 be included for Norway?

RE: Was looking at a F35 cockpit
If only the avionics in BMS were made modular, to allow different cockpit artists to make real dedicated cockpits. Maybe in 3, 4 weeks

RE: Nordic V2.1 bugs and issues
The harbour facilities at the Baltic sea all are at quite some distance of the water.

RE: Nordic gives black screen only
Some additional info: the problem with the new driver is that the 3D content isn’t displayed. The game runs in the background, behind the ‘black curtain’, I can hear the sounds.

RE: Nordic V3
I ordered this book which I hope contains a lot of info on the Swedish airforce during the cold war (kalla kryget = cold war).
(now work on my Swedish…… ännu inte bra)

Mine is an R9 280X. I can upgrade again and try your fixes

RE: Nordic gives black screen only
Ah, OK, thanks I’ll do that.
Edit: 17.7.1 is OK

Right MFD: no video
After reinstalling BMS (U4) I get an odd problem. I can configure both external MFD’s to the 8 inch displays I use and move the windows/borders around. When starting BMS, I can see the bars with ‘Left MFD’ and ‘Right MFD’ on top where they should be. But ingame, only the left one shows the graphic content: radar etc. The right one stays completely white. I use the standard BMS cockpit display extractor, which worked fine until now. The left one is connected to the video card, the right one to a USB displaylink adapter
Who can help me out?

Nordic gives black screen only
After a long absence, I’ve reinstalled BMS (incl. U4) and Nordic 2.1. Great to see this theater developing! I only can’t fly it yet.
Korea KTO runs fine, but I can’t get Nordic to show the pie-screen nor the 3D environment. Everything is ok in 2D (mission editor etc.) until I hit the ‘take off’ button. Then the screen turns black and that’s it. I have to kill it in the task manager of windows. Returning to Korea is OK. Btw, I can see the 3D models in the weapons screen.
Any ideas?

RE: On the SAAB Gripen
You’re right Red Dog, I guess both are right: the C/D versions need a Litening pod for FLIR and the E/F versions aren’t in active service yet.

RE: Nordic Theatre 1.0 BMS 4.33
Hi Snail, hope you enjoy flying Swedish ac in Nordic…
I certainly will, but my pc problems aren’t over yet. Must be a hardware issue: even in safe mode it shuts off and restarts randomly.

RE: On the SAAB Gripen
Oh well, Molni is Hungarian and not enthousiastic about his country’s choice for the Gripen.
And about FLIR:

RE: Nordic Theatre 1.0 BMS 4.33
Just as my computer decided to produce random but severe errors and blue screens, this theater was released… Reading all this I’m highly motivated to get it up and running again, to say the least.

RE: Norway Theater - Lets Do It! Skins
Red1, back in the day, made a Talon skin for me as well as an F5 AGGRS skin to replace Rivers skin (The one with the overlapping UV’s).
I gave them up to the Hustler for inclusion in 5.5. Don’t know if he has them anymore, maybe Gorny may……DUNNO…they were pretty sweet though.Regards,
demerWere they included in 5.5?

RE: Norway Theater - Lets do it!
So snail those five u posted can only be in theater. Right?
About the inside diagrams of the taxiway and parking areas? I’m talking about those inside the mountains only. Are they available somewhere - somehow?
Height of the ceiling?Would it be OK if I provide the hills and the entrance and u create the rest? Or u will need and the rest.
Finally I would suggest to select one (preferably small) for which u have adequate info of the internals to create that as a pilot model and see how it goes.
What do u say?Unfortunately there are no mountain/underground hangars within the borders of the theater: they were situated more or less in the central part of Sweden: Uppsala, Norrköping, Säve. The highway strips I mentioned at the bottom of page 37 are just that: dispersed road bases. If you click on the Google Maps links in my posting, and activate the satellite view, you can see the current state and sometimes recognise parts of the former airbase structure.
According to the goal of BMS (and former Falcon versions): realism is #1, I would hesitate to make mountain hangars where they in real life never have been situated. Though tempting as a concept, it wouldn’t be my choice.

RE: Norway Theater - Lets do it!
For the highway strips in Sweden, these five could be used within the borders of the theater:
Vidsel
Aside from the bigger airbase, Vidsel had a dispersed base approx. 20 km. to the East.

http://www.forsvarsmakten.se/siteassets/5-information-och-fakta/historia/vagbaserna/fortv-2007-1.pdfEdit: as far as I can get info on mountain hangars, there were 6 built in total, all more or less in the central part of Sweden, outside the theater. So for historic/realistic reasons they unfortunately don’t fit in the current Nordic theater.
