Test low-poly toys in BMS4..

the fixed bomb lods here…
Thanks!
Rbk-250, FAB-500 is good!
Soldier platon LOD also interesting:
-
Any chance for recon F-5E? Is the Tigereye!
there’s one…based on Mike River’s high-poly F-5E.
Soldier platoon LOD also interesting:
yeah, that experimental sample looks a bit static, but adds more “men in war” atmoshere. Once a thought is to use animated 3d soldiers or poplulated switch-node cardboard soldiers, later dropped as fast-jet pilots won’t need that level of detail…just prickle naplams…
-
it’s fun to watching big cargo landing with full flap down…

Yow, nice Su-34 Skin, is that available for d/l?

no…just rough skin for test.
–---------------------------------------------------------test another old lod, skin by Twister from Mexico.
the basic model is SU25 by Spike.
I stretch nose gear and edit gear position in su25.dat, try to make it a taildragger in bms… the result is, when you full stop, the main wheels won’t down to ground, ac remain parallel to ground (in first pic). when you start to roll, the ac turns into a correct taildragger as .dat set (in second pic). AND i found nose gear steering is off automatically in taildragger state! you can only enable nose steering in static state. -

I luv these two camos and models.
Started to make similar camo for default LOD, but I dislike it uses so many textures (default one).
Howmany textures does your LOD use? -
you can have one or two texture lod… just fuse several tex into one with LE.
try compare these files.

Thanks, unfortunally that fuzed model has no textures inside zip. Have u got a fuzed texture as well (or at least unwraped mesh?).
Perhaps I can refresh memory and export it from LE. -
no fused texture. those good at photoshop can do the job.

you mean that su25UB skin is yours?
-
Small test. Mig-23/27 BN.
Added slots for 800 litre wing fuel tank and rear fuselage bombs. -
looks nice, but underwing bags are ferryflight only…it does not allow higher sweep angles IIRC…and are dropped using pyropatrons or so
On the other hand I like it…there just should be a rule to drop them before pushing plane to its limit…
-

Yeah, I made it for the stock Su25 and then Twister tweaked it for the two-seater model (meant to be included in the Peru-Chile theatre… which also died a million years ago).
Great memories
-
Ah~ i thought it was made by Twister!
Glad to meet original skin artist…that skin makes old poor model looks really good.and ya, great memories working on peru-chile theater… Twister also invested lots time and effort on it… terrain and 3d DB are roughly done and we simply can’t figure out a working campaign.
-
hmm… no support for Xswitch, so the ASM air-intake lid won’t drop…
-
Wow is that a Buccaneer? I used to have a 1/48 Airfix model that I painted in ODS colours, awesomeness.
