Balkans Theater of Operation for BMS 4.33 U5

-
Hallo to all.
I have noticed that in Balkan theater into my F-16 cockpit the INSTRUMENT MODE panel is missing.
I have this problem both in TE or Campaign, and with Block 40 or 50 aircraft.
If I use default Korea scenario the panel is present.
Best Regards.
Toro 63.First, thanks to all VERY much for this theater! Got it working last night and it’s very welcome. For anyone who hasn’t checked this out, it’s a 4.33 level recreation of the F4AF Balkans theater.
Toro, I had the same question. I couldn’t get ILS on. So, on the Block 52 CM how is the HSI modelled? Rybo, you mention the “m” button replaces the ILS/INS/TCN button. How do you know which mode the HSI is in? What about the course and Heading knobs? Is there perhaps a manual on this somewhere? -
The mode is indicated in the lower right angle of the EHSI, the knobs work like in the standard HSI…

Coming soon. …
Hello Rudi,
looking forward to it :bdance::bdance::bdance::bdance::bdance:

Thanks, B. The HSI ( or now EHSI) in the -CM looks to be a glass instrument, very different visually. I don’t know if it’s a graphics thing or just that my eye were real tired(it was VERY late ), but I didn’t see a mode indication. Of course, even the knobs are not real obvious. I’ll check it all out tonight.
Btw, and while I’m here…Is the airport data in this 4.33 version as is listed in the 4.32 1108_BalkansNav manual? The data I have for Brindisi-Casale is
257.8/120.8 U/V
tcn-079X
ILS-109.5,course 33?
runways 01/19,15/33. Since ATC had me land on 16 right, I was kind of wondering about the data.

And thanks again for this Theater!!!
One final question: Does WDP support this theater? -
-
Does this mean that a modified version with autogen trees is in the making (and available to the public when released)?:D Looks great!
-
Yes…

Fantastic:)

One final question: Does WDP support this theater?Just an update for everybody…
- The EHSI does in fact have knobs. They are just hard to see.(on my pc at least). And, as stated the “m” button replaces the ILS/INS/TCN knob.
2)The 4.32 data does seem to carry over to 4.33
3)WDP is supported. Keep in mind , like with any change of theater, that you have to create an autosave for it.
There is potential bug I noticed when you are in the UI, and want to ALT +Tab to go go desktop(as in when you are going to WDP). On three separate occasions, BMS froze at a black screen, and becomes unresponsive. You have to get out of it with Task Manager. Plus, my pc task bar is 1/3 the way up the screen, and I have to restart the pc.
The simple workaround in to exit BMS, do the WDP, and reenter. - The EHSI does in fact have knobs. They are just hard to see.(on my pc at least). And, as stated the “m” button replaces the ILS/INS/TCN knob.

There is no need to restart the PC. Open Task Manager, kill explorer.exe, then Falcon BMS.exe, then click on File -> “New task (run…)” and type explorer. Enter.

First time I see this. What do u mean with autosave?

My compliments, excellent work again,
just a little observation for those wanting to print the Quick reference guide at 505 pages.
Just a Heads up,
be careful when you print this,Make sure to select the option fit to page.
Around page 78 where the charts begin, the following pages with the charts are a different size to A4 (bigger), fortunately I only printed 30 pages before I managed to cancel the job.
Sabre was here

Thanks, Sunrrrise, I’ll keep that in mind if my little workaround stops working!
Arty, I’m not at home, so excuse me if the path is not 100%, but when you go into WDP to open a mission it asks you to select a particular file and the final “stop” of the path is autosave. It is the file the campaign data is stored in.
The point is, as Falcas pointed out, is that when you start a new theater in WDP for the first time you have to browse to the new theater’s file. The good news is that WDP does save that file. So, if you change theater then later got back to it, it’s still on the list in WDP.
BTW, for anyone who hasn’t tried it, WDP is fully functional in 4.33, and personally I “don’t leave home without it”! -
we are talking about WDP or Falcon? I thought it was for Falcon. This is why I said I see this for the first time.
-
Very thx for you have done……:D

WDP, though if memory serves it is seen in BMS files once you start exploring down those file paths. .
