Some update:
Some points to note:
FPS is better than expected and the TE loads a lot faster.
Waypoints are a bit off when using the ingame TE Builder BUT show properly when entering the sim???(Biker)
The pit is still a WIP from WaveyDave, but is more functional than B4.Need a ramp start guide to exploit it.
Teds(Polaks) or whomever’s terrain detail texture is being applied across the wireframe, no biggy. Cept that I did show some WIP pics in Guam where in we were using the single texture to achieve the same result. Though I like the translation to some extent, I might try to F’ a bit with it……LOL!!!Enjoy the Vid,much,much more to come……;)

BTW I have never asked the BMS boyz’ to build into the stock DB our work in Guam (though I see it). It is free and will always be. BUT on the other hand they accepted and are using the ITO groups work just to make it agreeable with this last release.BUT that theater CTD’s even now??? Hell gents you spent all that time to include the Israel F16 variants ??? -

(Technical: Model is 467K poly’s with no Materials burnt in yet. NO textures.But only adds about 85kb to the Horea.lod file, go figure??? Shows about a 10 FPS drop over conventional techniques. It is one layer and one draw call It is TOO busy ATM, but works anyway……ROTFLMAO!!!) -

I have not had the time to evaluate the F5 in the 433 DB. Though at a quick glance there seems to be some new work there by BMS.
As you well know the biggest bug with that AC in “Legacy” was fuel usage not calculated correctly. I helped Hustler and Ranger to correct that somewhat in the last FF DB. BUT, I don’t think Fred ever got around to correcting it’s hard coded parent in their .exe……( wish we could get rid of them ALL someday…sigh)I will take a look at it later…remind me

This is what happened:Now, I have no clue why suddenly No.2 AI is sniffing my butt……??? They were doing pretty good in the new .exe to wait their turn. I liked that. Tanx BMS Boyz.

You probably would not need to spend as many polys as I did on the sprites ??? (I spent a lot, I’m not so good as you when it comes to Lo-Poly)
Sprite only needs to animate from all clear on deck, both arms up, then one fist and a palm over its head, then turn,kneel on one leg and point the shot. Then do it again for #2……or something like that, I forgot all the hand signals a loooong time ago and don’t want to remember them…ROTFLMAO!!!

Well, I did have one static cat officer in launch posture on deck …long time ago.
We also tried to use switch animated cardboard figure to do it, with texture from Fighter Anthology.The key to success is, we need bms coder to extend the blaster deflector animation sequence.
Fir example, one cat officer stand static in cat rail. Once ac taxing near deflector, the whole sequence triggered…
Officer starts to raise/wave hands, deflector up, officer switch to cat launch posture, ac up, deflector down, and
Officer back to static…the whole animation works as a complete cycle. -
If it were possible for the duration of the animation of rising deflector, static appear some figures, at least as the shooter in the image
And once the deflector up until firing the catapult does not occur, as in the following image
