Dunno about that M8,
I put some “GREYS” on the deck per Changs request.
This is what happened:Now, I have no clue why suddenly No.2 AI is sniffing my butt……??? They were doing pretty good in the new .exe to wait their turn. I liked that. Tanx BMS Boyz.
Must be the “ALIEN” presence on the deck…
LOL,
Dave -
looks like zombies!!
say, if BMS team can code animated blast deflectors, they can add a 3d cat officer, animated thru switching nodes of 3d figure with different cat launch gesture.

Yes you could, I would suppose M8……let me know when you have 'em
You probably would not need to spend as many polys as I did on the sprites ??? (I spent a lot, I’m not so good as you when it comes to Lo-Poly)
Sprite only needs to animate from all clear on deck, both arms up, then one fist and a palm over its head, then turn, kneel on one leg and point the shot. Then do it again for #2……or something like that, I forgot all the hand signals a loooong time ago and don’t want to remember them…ROTFLMAO!!!
You think this is Insanity Ward’s engine…??? HaHaHaCheers,

Well, I did have one static cat officer in launch posture on deck …long time ago.
We also tried to use switch animated cardboard figure to do it, with texture from Fighter Anthology. The key to success is, we need bms coder to extend the blaster deflector animation sequence.
Fir example, one cat officer stand static in cat rail. Once ac taxing near deflector, the whole sequence triggered…
Officer starts to raise/wave hands, deflector up, officer switch to cat launch posture, ac up, deflector down, and
Officer back to static…the whole animation works as a complete cycle. -
If it were possible for the duration of the animation of rising deflector, static appear some figures, at least as the shooter in the image
And once the deflector up until firing the catapult does not occur, as in the following image

Just a little “off topic”, perhaps, but… have I seen it right?
A Spirit on the cat? A true picture and not PSed?Best regards,

Best regards,That’s not a B-2 Spirit. It’s a UAV. Don’t know which one though.

Thanks a lot, Sherlock! Seen with no perspective points, I was almost to believe that…
Best regards,

So it’s a holiday Stateside, just a little vid of what we have been up to in GUAM 4.33, n’joy
REMEMBER that Bandicam cuts the FPS in half!!!
Xmas is coming
demer -
Demer explain please about bandicam cause i’m using it and what type of screen recording software is fps friendly?? Thx
-
I think the most FPS friendly is Nvidia Shadow Play feature…but you must have modern card to support it…my is unable, so I use Fraps (game is ok during capture).

The FREE version of Bandicam that I use for these captures doe’s not allow me to render the vid based on the FPS in 3D world. It is strapped to half of the screen refresh rate. On my POS dev rig it is 60.
So follow Luks advice for better capture software.Cheers,

Hello Demer,
Is that Khamsims Nimitz imported from X-Plane 10? Is there any way to position the Prowlers wings properly? That always bugged me about this model. The Wings sticking straight up in the air like that. They should be fold more so that the Wing tips are nearly touching. One last question, if and when you get textures on this bad boy, can you do it in a way that it can represent any of the first 8 Nimitz Class? Ie: CVN-68 thru CVN-74 The Last two had a different Island therefor this model would not work. The main concern here being the way the Island Number is lit at night. If it is done with a night time texture that is perfect. If there are lights positioned in the Shape of the Numbers 68 for example, then this becomes an issue for repainting to a sister ship. -Woog

Woogey,
In a short answer to your post and with the understanding I am not speaking for Demer, nothing from Guam has been ported from any other entity except Falcon 4 derivatives. The theater was and is being developed exploring new ideas and concepts we feel are possible in a Falcon 4 environment. It is being developed for practicality and functionality, the eye candy will be added after theater release by interested modders, that is how BMS works. The carriers to be released in Guam will not have textures per say but “materials” , thus making the sim a bit more efficient in how it manages the computer hardware. Once again Demer could easily explain, but at the moment he is trying to improve on his “97% efficiency rate”.
