Burner Sound
-
Lol Dj
I merely pointed out that it is normal not to feel it in the alphajet as there is NO afterburner in the alphajet ā¦ maybe you missed it
I teased you Buddy -
Well, Iām happy to see so much reactions, and I listen to you all carefully. This was very interresting.
But no one would like answer my question so? -
I think itās:
Engines/Fighter/F-16/sndabint.ogg
Engines/Fighter/F-16/sndabint2oggAt least in 4.32 it was. Canāt check at the moment for 4.33
Edit: just noticed those were the ones you had found already yourself

Hello !
Iām just looking for the F16 internal burner sound. I want to add some bass to it in purpose of quake my ass with my subwoofer (Like true pilots I hearded )
This sound was in C:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Sounds , called āburneriā ; but i canāt find it anymore.Iāve checked a lot of folder, like C:\Falcon BMS 4.33\Data\Sounds\Engines\Fighter\F-16 but I canāt find the sound. ( I tried to add some bass on āsndabintā, āsndabint2ā etcā¦ but I didnāt hear the changes. So I guess Iām looking for an other folder or files.
Anyone knows where it would be?
Thanks
Could the sound be added?
Donāt know. Maybe bug in your jet. My RL F-16 kicks me in the pants when the burner lights.
Specially in the āHush Houseā when your really hoping the tail hook does not fail you. (http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=284822)

I used the sounds from battle for Balkans TO, will they work with 4.33?
-
There is also āsndint2ā and āsndint3ā in the f16 folder, maybe you did find the good one, one easy way to be sure, is to replace the sound by silence and youāll immediatly know if it worked or not.

Thanks for the tips Legion.
I will give you some news. -
Did you ever seen afterburners on an Alpha Jet?
I am talking about M2000, MF1, Jaguar, Rafale ā¦ probably also any other fighter Jets.Indeed, you can kick the AfterBurners in, and still stay at a constant airspeed, or even loosing airspeed. Only at takeoff and at low speed you can feel a high positive acceleration ā¦ except this, (at least on the jets I know) there is no real specific noticeable sounds, nor sensible vibrations increase ā¦ (this is probably why you have the Nose Pos indicator in cockpit in F-16, and a light on some M2000)
About the small AJet ā¦ When engines are āhotā (after 10-20min of flight) during touchānāgo or go around, when the RPM pass above 90%, it kicks your but more than in an Jaguar with AfterBurners or a than a M2000D in combat configuration. ā¦ yep.
Cali knows what he we are talking about.
Long time ago for me now, but you could clearly perceive a difference in the Jaguar (not just acceleration (limited!)). (Although sound-wise it might actually be slightly less with reheat engaged.)

ok ! Found it. My mistakeā¦ The AB burner sound for F16, in cockpit, is, actuallyā¦ āsnabintāā¦ as simply it could beā¦
in C:\Falcon BMS 4.33\Data\Sounds\Engines\Fighter\F-16It seem to be the same for any F16
I will make right now a sound with āmore bass the rumble my assā !
If anyone is interrested, please, MP
Please, note that this sound would be calibrated for my sound config. ( speaker, volume in falcon, settings in sound soft like Realtek )

Nozzle position on the F-16 does vary other than just with AB, so I suspect thats not the sole reason for the indicator [emoji14]
-
Indeed. On the ground for exemple.
But I donāt get the relation between your answer and my request.

Actually it was in response to DeeJay, but the quote has disappearedā¦
