Hey,
Currently CET has just over 150 airbases/airstips.
If you have WDP installed you can have a look at them as they are already included in the WDP database.On top of these, I have made new types of armybases which have a small runway. As well as a little asphalt runway, but also some grass runway versions are included.
You can not have a fixed wing squadron located at these armybases, but helicopters can be based there.
And you can use these armybases to land on. This means that many many more little airports will be available.
However, I still need to add a lot of them to the theater. It all a lot of workHere you can see an example of one of the new armybases.

Volkel airbase getting ready for operations.
The base is pretty big, with a runway more that 9000’ long.
This runway has a completely new touchdown zone with correct markers.It has a new runway which only has half the width of the normal runway.
This one is used as an aux runway and the same will be used with other bases like Kleine Brogel and Twenthe.It also has a new sign that you can spot beside the runway, the arrestor system sign.

How do you get AI ATC to say active runway + wind + cleared for take off? All I get in 4.33 is cleared for departure?

Just radio: ready to taxi etc and atc will give u right runway and Wind etc

Nice work - although I noticed some things.
The shelter type is wrong, RAFG didn’t have the US type-HAS (Gen3).
No taxiway markings?

may I add also…
No lighting from aircraft during night on taxiway… also as spynx says lights on taxiway (blue ones) probably are wip so that is why they are not there.
On bombing scenarios taxiways can’t be pretargeted and even if not pre targeted and let’s say I bomb the taxi way what happens? will the aircraft be able to taxi or will they explode?
If they explode will it be registered for airbase destruction like operational 70%.
This would be nice in a way if you could by the code instead of the 3d object of taxiway to count the parking and taxi points. This would be a nice solution for such airbases. -
Hey,
All new airports (12 until now) are all WIP. The youtubes you can see are after about 2-3days of work (about 10 hours per day) on each airport.
This includes creating the tiles, adding all the auto tree stuff, creating new models for runways and others, adding all the features, adding all the taxipoints which are about 500-1000 points per airport.
And still doing coding stuff in between.
So if something is not 100% yet… it has its reasonsGr Falcas
