Hud not being visible above clouds
-
When I pop up above the clouds I am unable to see the Hud but the second I got under them its clearly visible. I never had this problem in 4.32. Do you guys have any recommendations to fix this?

change colour
or map the hud brightness to an analogue pot and change the brightness. analogue value gives much better response than keystroke -
Or maybe the following solution:https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?25398-disabling-the-green-circle-on-the-hud

Screen contrast setting issue. Try by reducing it a little bit and try again. … check also the screen gamma setting. Too high setting might conflict with your in game HDR level.

Well is there a way to calibrate the screen based on what you say? Meaning a photo where this x area should be pure black - not visible or something like that.

- Fly above the clouds (overcast coverage) by day, HUD set at maximum luminosity.
- Play with screen contrast/gamma/temperature settings.
- Find a suitable setting for contrast (maybe gamma).

Windows has that functionality built in.
Go to display under the control panel and “calibrate color” (I don’t know if it is the same on 8/10 as I don’t use them).
Personally, I just played around with the DDS files a little to get the effect that I want.
