Few Questions

Hi guys

Is there a way to assign keys that perform the Mouse wheel zoom function (3D pit), e.g. A - for zoom in / Z - for zoom out ?

I am exploring the F-16 pit [panel by panel], started with the “Test Panel”. I clicked the “Fire & OH Detect” button a few time to see it functuallity and 2 my suprise after one of the clicks the engine was shut down during the flight.
Anyone knows is that normal or is it part of the “error system” ( u know, Alt C : R . . .).

Dude,
I think you just “foamed” your engine. I believe that switch is not a “test” switch, rather a fire extinguisher for your engine. Not sure, but that is what it sounds like.

Actually it is a test switch, and you should be depressing it in every ramp start, to test the fire and overheat detection circuits.
When you depress it, the eng fire warning light, and the overheat caution light, should come on. This should trigger the master caution after a few seconds. Releasing the button should cause them to go out. It should not have any other effect on the engine.
F-16 doesnt actually have a fire extinguisher for its engine. If that thing catches fire, and the fire persists, ejection is the expected course of action.

Yes,
Since it “shut your engine down”, I assumed that it was not a test switch. So, don’t know why it would shut your engine down.
