Andre, do they come with a NA 110 power adapter or only with 220.

JetSeat KW-90x goes with universal voltage 100 - 240 V Euro plug power supply unit.
For your convenience I’ve added to the store a Europe to USA AC Power Plug Adaptor. -
Tnanks for the pictures
I hope your preciseness will not be affected a lot by shaking applied to the controls. That is another reason why I didn’t install it directly under my stick. It hasn’t cause an shaking to the stick that I have noticed, it might make me induce just a little shake when the vibrations are turned way up. It won’t be an issue at all with the floorboard, it doesn’t shake that much.
Here’s a better side view:

Thanks for your order! I’m preparing a package for you.

I am going to use the buttkicker to vibrate the lumber setup I have for a bit of force feedback in the arms stick and throttle, with the jetseat on my back and butt.

André,
My experience with the jetseat is very low, I’m still in the setup phase where I try to set the vibration to my preferences.
Here are a few comments regarding feedback already. None of these are critical, just feedback from a regular user with his own point of view. Basically open for discussion1. I loved straight away your latest update about G forces. It’s much better to have no vibration at 1G. Yet I wonder if it wouldn’t be better to extend this a bit.
The seat starts generating vibration as soon as the G meter is anything else than 1G: +1.1G or +0.9GWouldn’t it be better to have a rather large G scale where no vibration are generated? For instance, I’d start generating negative G feedback only below -0.1G and I would start generating positive G’s from 2.1 - 2.3 positive G
That would provide a G area from 0 to 2.2 for instance that would not generate G feedback from the seat.
The reason is that the feedback should tell the user when G forces starts to be important, not at 0.8 or 1.3G which are pretty common and not really important regarding G awareness or energy management?2. I notice there is an option for APU in the effect but that’s disabled for BMS. Would it be nice to have the JFS enabled in BMS?
The Jet Fuel Starter of the F-16 is not like an APU but it’s probably something that could benefit a bit of tactile feedback at ramp start as well.
there are two bits in the shared mem for this one. The run light and the JFS ON. I’d use the JFS on bit first for lower vibration as the JFS accelerates and then the JFS light bit comes ON only when JFS speed is nominal. So this one can be used to increase a bit the vibration as the JFS turns full speed. The JFS will auto shut off when the RPM reaches a certain level (50%) and engine is started. JFS vibration feedback can then stop.Thoughts?
That’s it for now.

Thanks1. I tend to agree with you there. I would say if we were simulating civilian plane, the current range would be a good range because the numbers Andre have picked out because that is were I start to notice Gs when I fly. But I would bet a fighter pilot could care less at that point.
2. Great point and way to get it done!

Hi Red Dog,
About the first point you mentioned. I agree with you and already suggested some kind of configurable ‘deadzone’ for this effect. Although Andre implemented the G-effects perfectly theoretically, flying with almost constant G-Force feedback makes all the other effects feel ‘muted’.
Also I think the effect will be much powerfull when kicking in when really starts to count, more towards the limits instead of immediately from center.I would like to stress this is my own opinion and suggestions, only to make the experience even better. So no complains with Andre his work
Cheers Obi

I saw REDDOGs pictures of his ACES2 with the JETSEAT
Quote from REDDOG:
'" The Jetseat is just a bit too large for the aces2 and clearly denotes a little bit the look of the ejection seat. So far I used the Jetseat under the real aces cushion without no real vibration loss. So that’s how I will use it until I can embedd the motors in a homemade Aces like cushions.
The biggest issue are the 2 forward motors which are placed almost outside the Aces2 seat, close to the ejection handle. These will need to be relocated when I build the aces cushion."Here comes the big Question……Could you ever consider to produce your JETSEAT cushions in a ACES2 look… Both Simulator communities: DCS (A-10) and BMS (F-16) uses their Aces2 seats…… ??
Greetings RUS

Andre posted a link earlier of somebody that built into a seat cushion over at the ED forums. Granted not an ACES2, but I don’t think I’d want to cut one of those up given how much they are.
EDIT: Here’s the link Andre posted earlier http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2563157

If I ever start to produce JetSeats by my own, I will consider that.
Currently we use JetSeats produced by Gametrix. -
Oooooooo……AcesII jetseat. Would buy that too!

Got mine today morning, very fast delivery (2 weeks), no customs etc.
Just landed a mission…
OMG! This is an awesome product! You have full body feedback of what is going on, taxi hops, AB, guns, airbrakes, a whole list of “force feedback” vibrations…
And most importantly, my wife loved it too! Massage Mode -ON after landing!
Thanks Andre, truly love it, definitely worth the money, can’t think flying without it any more!!

Good news from Greece
Thank you, guys! -
Massage mode included? Seriously? In that case, I just got my buy-permission.

Hi Andre
Got mine yesterday!! Have tried it for a short hop…. amazing:p
Fast response, delivery and service (had to pay customs, though) …but that’s just my usual luck.Funny thing… had the same thought about the ACES II seat cushion, but guess that will be just another conversion project.
I must agree with Red Dog, that the G-force feeling maybe could use some modification in regard to only kicking in at the higher G-loads.
Unfortunately I experienced that one of shakers (left thigh) gave an almost constant high frequency “humming” with the slightest engagement of the shaker. Somehow annoying, because it would even be heard when wearing well fitting earphones. I don’t know if it has anything to do with setup, but I just tried the default profile (via usb). If anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of the humming - I’ll be grateful to get some hints.
Disregarding the “left thigh humming” it is really an immersive addition to the sim. - Thanks Andre:D
