MFDE and 4.33U1 Poor Frame Rates
-
Is anyone else experiencing poor frame rates with MFDE?
After installing U1 basically MFDE is un-usable.
I have had all settings maxed before and continue to have them maxed now and my frame rates have dropped terribly.I7 4770K 3.5 Ghz, GTX 780 TI, 3GB GDDR5, 32Gig Ram Windows 7 Professional, SSD z87 Motherboard….
The frame rates are above 75 fps without MFDE and below 20 with MFDE. I have 3 monitors and a 4th for the Displays.
I have to have something wrong here this doesn’t sound right.

…please check, that the instruments or instruments borders not Stretch to another monitor display. Every instrument should be complete on one monitor! Eventually thats the Problem…

You Sir…… Are a steely eyed missile man! Thanks
When I updated I had to re-position my MFD’s and they were just extended enough into the other monitor that I couldn’t see them yet they were effecting the frame rates.
110 Plus now fully maxed out.

I wa going to say that I have no problems with frame rate using MFDE. I wish all extraction apps were this good.

Hi OverDhill,
your cockpit is looking very good with all the extractions.
Which one’s do you have installed successfully? Is it possible to share your know-how here?I’m very interested to get a similar setup with a center monitor to display most instruments.
Thanks!

Actually all of the gauges and MFD’s are done by MFDE. Only a few warning indicators are done in Helios. Helios also provides the background mask. The Thrustmaster MFD’s are Velcro’d to the edges of the monitor so they can be removed when not being used for other sims. The MFDE gauges can be sized and moved to where you want simply by dragging. MFDE is so simple to use. My second monitor is a 19" running 1280X1024 as an extended display. I have a EVGA Nvidia 980 Superclocked card.
