YAME64 suite

For gauge positioning you can enter the “edit mode” using ALT-E, so you can drag the gauge where you want and resize with mouse wheel. I think I shoud be clearer in the documentation…
The pictures are from BMS, so it’s low quality, I am not able to make images, so if someone can do better art I will integrate. Maybe I need some suggestions even for the setup, I can do a setup pplication if needed.

Hi Roccio, thx for this great software!
I was wondering if anyone uses the YAME_icp on an ipad? Can’t seem to find any apps that would open locally stored webpages.
Any suggestions?
greetings
(my first post here)
Sorry, but I don’t have a iPad, so I can not point you to a solution. Try google something like “ipad open local html file”

Maybe you can ask TomCatz if you can use his high res cockpit files (https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?26994-Cockpit-textures-for-the-Viper) those contain a number of images double the stock resolution.
For the exe install, I’ve heard good comments about http://www.flexerasoftware.com/producer/products/software-installation/installshield-software-installer/tab/editions but have no direct experience (I work on a Mac, only use Windows for BMS). -

What would be really nice, is if we could toggle instruments on and off with a menu of some sorts. it takes awhile to change all of them with true/false statements. It would also be great if windows snaps to edges on screen when turning off borders. (the hotkey alt+b sometimes crashes the application). A setup for installation is no biggie personally
I also noticed the fuel quantity gauge is for the D model I believe, so it shows unbalanced fuel for the C model. no biggie, just a tip for maybe implementing them both

For me it could be a good thing. I have been trying to get it running for a week before I noticed in the properties of every single file it was blocked by windows because it came from another unverified computer. I can manually unblock it, but that needs to be done file by file, not in batch. A setup via 1 exe could resolve that issue.
I now had to copy the extracted files onto an external disk and then recopy them to my pc to make it believe it was coming from a trusted location. -

also win7x64, maybe different settings somewhere

a way to unblock it, can be done if you right-click zip -> properties -> unblock at bottom on general tab

Request:
I would like to have the ability to specify coordinates and size for the gauges like in CDE. While it’s easy to drag-drop or use the scroll wheel, it’s not as precise as I want it to be and sometimes when my settings get messed up, I swear I’m going to develop carpal tunnel from all the fine adjustments I have to make. If I could say “make this gauge 30x30 pixels and have the upper-left corner at 1080, 700, done!” that would be awesome!

You can do that already in the config.xml?

I will make a configuration utility for the next release, just to make it more easy, maybe something like MFDE with checkbox for individal gauge.
For the snap thing you can position the window to left top using ALT+0, I will add the snap to border in future.
The ALT+B crashes sometimes, I will investigate, thank you.
The fuel gauge was taken from BMS 4.32, maybe I can get the new correct one from the current version. -

Can you? Apologies then, if this is already possible. Like I said, my pit is still under construction so I’ve not really tried anything yet.

None yet, waiting on a beta version he’s making for me
@-Ice
Beta testing. All items are YAME except for the trim gauges and compass that are still from MFDE. Quick and dirty layout of course but going in the right direction for sure! -
Hello,
Trying to setup but cannot get the gauges working and updating, settingup in 64 mode, same machine.
Can get MFD and RWR on main screen but not through the client. however I can see them and move them to any of my screens.PORT: 53100
FPS: 30
MFD: 1 0 578 200 200 196 0 824 578 200 200 64
RWRDED: 1 0 0 100 100 128 0 824 0 200 70 128I estimate I overlook some setting(s)?
Thanks
FIXED**
I have set port forwarding in my routor to given IP from the server launch tool.
Now fine tuning sizes and position of the gauges. -
Installed and working once I installed the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for 32 and 64bit ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=48145 ) but for me the client both 32 and 64 consume 25% cpu ! Is that normal ? i7-4770K

Hi,
I just had to open port 53100-53101 in my routor for my IP.
Same I have to do when flyng online in multiplayer mode.Regards
-
Maybe I misunderstood your post, but you’re saying “a setup on the same machine”. You wouldn’t need a portforward if you’re setting up server/client on the same machine. Probably not even when using two, since they’re most likey on the same local network. Only expections in firewall in OS is necesarry. Even I can extract you’re gauges with this setup.
Regards

If you are using the same machine you don’t need to run the server at all. Just enter in the client config.xml the string local as the ip address of the server. This way you will have all extraction without network usage.
