Modifying Weapons Load

I started to check out the campaign in BMS. I haven’t played it since Falcon 4.0. I flew a SEAD/DEAD mission and wanted to add a targeting pod to the HTS pod so I could see what I locked up. I picked a mission that wasn’t in progress. Chose the Sniper pod then clicked ok. Then started the mission on the runway. The pod never loads. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong.

It might depend on which Blk of f16 you chose. I THINK the option can exist in loadout screen but not actually be valid. Not sure of that. Brain fade.

I’m flying the Block 50. It should be able to carry both a TP and a HTS pod.

Hmmmm. Maybe you are right. I thought they started to carry the HTS pod on the left side and the Sniper on the right with the Block 50. The designation of the CM came after, grouping Block 40s and 50 in a common config. I will try later today with the CM.

I think it only loads on block 40 in KTO campaigns

Should be able to load TGP & HTS on any Block 50 mission (as long as it isn’t ramping). How long ahead of mission time did you make the loadout changes?

If you make changes with less than 20 minutes to takeoff, your mileage may vary. With less than 8 minutes, its just not going to work.

why is it only on Block-40 loaded HTS and TGP can I only use the HAD?

HAD should be available anytime HTS is loaded. With or without TGP shouldn’t matter.
You haven’t fiddled around with the avionics configurator by chance, have you?

The mission was still in briefing so I thought it if wasn’t on the taxi way or the runway it would have been ok.

Nope. The HTS is loaded and I can use the HAS through the weapons dsb button but for HAD; SMS>HAD nothing there EXCEPT in block 40. @Agave_Blue:
