BMS 4.33 A/P switch not responding in 3D pit
-
Hi,
I am having trouble with a 4.33 build on my pit PC. the Auto Pilot Pitch switch will not move in the 3D pit. The keyfile is a development from the pitbuilder version, I have assigned control alt A, control alt D and control alt S to the 3 switch positions and there are no conflicts in the keyfile. I had this working fine both from the physical switch and from the keyboard but something is screwed up with it now.If I go into into the game setup, controllers page I can still see the physical switch and keyboard giving the correct responses MISC: PITCH Switch - ALT HOLD, A/P OFF and ATT HOLD but in game in the 3D pit it does not move the switch whether operated from pit switch, keyboard or mouse.
Any of the BMS 4.33 Gurus know a simple fix?
I am tempted to do a complete reinstall of 4.33, if I have to do this apart from files in the user folder what other files should I back up so as not to loose any of my config?
Regards all

Maybe Check AP limitations in dash1 so you’re sure that the AP you’re trying to enable is within limit

Hi Red Dog, I was within A/P limits, it is not a procedure thing because I have 4.33 on a laptop as well and that works fine with the same parameters and selections. Any more ideas greatly appreciated?

my next one would be a keystroke issue, but reading your first post you seemed to have this one ruled out

FIXED
Warthog Throttle had R/H engine switch selected to MOTOR position and Target script output for that = MPO OVRD in my keyfile. DOH!

I had issue with my MFDs over weekend. Spent few hours trying to figure it out and it ended up being dang level switch in target. I switched to a level that didn’t have MFDs programmed in it by accident. Could have kicked myself for that one because I have done it before but it hadn’t happened in so long I totally didn’t think to check the switch.

Lesson of the Day: Don’t use Target!!!

Make sure your refuel door is closed. OOPS! Missed your Fixed post.
