Mfd color does not change in avionics configerator
-
I uncheck the box for mfd color in the avionics config but it does not save the change, it rechecks the box once I close out of it and the mfd’s are still in color, once the box is unchecked how do you save the change?

You have to apply the changes. Did you do that?

I tried, but could not find any where to apply the change, I couldn’t find that option, how is it done?

on top it says copy to callsign.ini. press it, open your callsign.ini and paste at the end. u should see a header called colors followed by numbers

I checked chapter three, it briefly mentions the avionics configerator but show’s nothing on how to make the changes permanent, it just mentioned unchecking the box, which I did, the information found did not pertain to what I am trying to do.

The new thread is legit because it’s two separate issues.

BMS-Technical-Manual page 3-24: “The RSAF F-16D settings have been changed but the profile still needs to be applied for the changes to take effect. Open the File menu and select the option Apply Profile.”
BMS-Technical-Manual page 3-27: “Click Apply Profile from the File menu to activate your changes.”

I think what is being mixed up is this… there are two editor’s, a bms config editor and then there is the avionics configerator editor, pg 3-24 is the bms config editor and show’s it’s picture, the avionics configerator is breifly mentioned but there is no picture of it, it is accessed by clicking on the avionics configerator name at start up, going into it should allow the color MFD box to be unchecked, and remain that way, it doesn’t, when leaving that page the box automatically rechecks it self, that is the issue I am having.
