Thank you very much Ripper for this important test! I can assume, that the tiles (512 res) with 9 level mipmaping do not have a catastrophic impact on performance!!! I think it’s very good! Now I`m making coastline with mountains. We will check how mountains affect performance)))

Looking very nice. Would like to see this as a more used cockpit, this looks like a brand new aircraft that just rolled out from the factory. Not criticizing this mod in anyway, but they have been around for some time, and thereby they would look more worn and used.

Hi,
512 Is the tiles res of KTO, so why do you assume there will be any performance difference?
And more, why will mountains affect performance? the number of vertices making the terrain is same regardless if it’s totally flat or full of mountains
(Besides, the number of vertices in the terrain is relatively small, the main performance sucked by the terrain currently is from the huge number of draw calls that is executed in order to draw so many textures in a single frame)
