Thank you so much. I am trying to get a 3D image in 2D plane. Because these details do not exist in the 3D model. (Jettison Rocket Engine in red circle)

Fantastic work!
The mirrors are static art, yes?
During the day its fine, but at night they will still show the same daylight reflections?Im wondering if this is the case, that you could supply two versions of the files that have the mirror reflections:
- one as you have it currently for daylight reflections.
- another thats dimly fogged out that is closer to the stock ones that are not bright at night.
Just thinking out loud. I mean no disrespect.

You’re right. Maybe I should make two versions: day and night. The pilot who wants to fly at night has to load the “night version”. I note that. Thank you so much.

Awsome work,
i have a question if can you change the color on the emergency controls ( Jettison stores, Eject handle, park brake etc. ) instead of the yellow i would use something between yellow and orange
Ofc if others won’t like that then leave it as it is. I assume it would look much better.
Here is an example of the coloring. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/d4/ef/61/d4ef61a08999f81ac32fef9992ff9ffc.jpg

Thank you so much. I was planning this. I think so too. I will paint them the orange color.

+1
I like it a lot how you “fake” the 3D look on the 2D texture.
Superb !!!
Cheers,

Super…
Wonder if a .bat file or other mechanism can be employed to make a fast day/night swap of the texture files.

Yes, it can easily be done with .bat file. Again you are right.

Cable on canopy
Wow, it looks like the metal stuff in hardware stores :-). You are the king of Hornet-Pit. Thank you so much.
Cheers to all of you.

Thank you so much Sting. Your suggestions are valuable to me.
I watched sample videos and photos while painting HUD. I took this video and photo as an example. (excuse me my english is not enough)Nice job, looking forward to more Hornet time.
Regarding the HUD glass; I notice in the above the ‘trim’ on the top of the glass is actually dark/black whereas in the sim it is light/white…is this part of the texture file(s) or is this simply untextured and thus whatever the 3d model is/can’t change because it’s not part of the texture files?

You’re right. I reviewed it again. The top of the HUD glass changes color with respect to the sun. So the color changes according to whether the light is broken on the glass. Sometimes white, sometimes gray, sometimes black. Actually it’s all true. I think it could be a gray color.
