Inlet update, ramps at various setups from sub to supersonic. Modeling is done on the inlet pending mesh optimization, Iāll now tilt it into position and connect it with the original intake frame and the airbleed door on top of the glovebox. The bottom shape is not final, will do that once the inlet is āin the modelā.

I can not wait to be able to fly with this magnificent model !!

:bdance:Especially when you look back and see the fluttering vertical tails disappear in a huge vapor cloud thatās building over the glove
Both things Iām hoping to be able to implement. Wavey Dave mentioned that itās a lot of work but possible none the less.

Will you implement ramp movement law ?

Will you implement ramp movement law ?
Thereās been some discussion on that in the F-4 thread by Manos and Pumpyhead I think cuz Manos wanted to make them work as well.
I donāt have any info on it. As I said before Iāll model it, as to how far it can be implemented I donāt know BUT I do think thereās a DOF for itā¦
I have all info on the operation so thatās not a problem.

There is a DOF and it should work.

Any idea on release date?

Inlet is pretty much integrated. The topside has been connected to the outlets, they now sit slightly higher and back than before. Some see through shots, will look great ingame I think. The entire intake is now angled more than before and comparing to pics itās much more real now. I had to manually bevel the outer frame (the metallic area around the intake) cuz no auto bevel worked correctly. Will now weld the inside and we should have a pretty neat design on hand :).
-
Forgot to mention the whole intake is now more squared meaning it was vertically too tall before. Also the area between the intake and fuselage that sits further back has been adapted and enlarged. The bottomside of the front fuselage still needs to be corrected.
The angular shape in between the engine pods has also been implemented. Somehow I never paid much attention to that part after originally modeling it about a year ago:)

Hereās the final upper rampās actuator

Hereās the upper rampās actuator
Look closely itās already modeled including the two square blocks on the ramp

About 3-4 weeksā¦
Would those be Falcon Weks, or Tomcat Weeks?
But seriously, Geat work as always.

Of course i noticed that, but, if iām not mistaking ;), it looks like youāve inverted the actuator pushing the last ramp (biggest cylinderās body is at the top IRL)
Thankās for efforts
