4.333 Flickering Textures

Seeing this in more complex ground objects. Also notice it when i get a certain distance to the object, and on tarmac at airbases in evening or night. Apart from this games looks fantastic. Set the power to performance in the Nvidia CP, and tried with multisampling on/off and various quality graphic settings, same result. Happens also with 2560x1440. Does not happen on all objects. This clip is of the LBG mission, and i notice that the area looks ‘foggy’ from a distance, but this seems to breakdown when I fly close, then building roof texture start to change color.
System includes 1080gtx,

Based on other games with similar, I suspect this is the camera perspective trying to deal with the clipping of the nearby building or its shadow.

I get something similar on some runway textures.

I have flickering problems in the tgp on buildings and units. But I’m not yet sure whether multiple units were stacked on the same position.
I’m using a gtx 1070 with 3440x1440 and everything on
Oh sorry wasn’t seeing the movie first due to my slooooow internet, but what you see is identical to my problem.
I guess we will have to “wait” for “other” drivers

I have seen this for years with BMS. I suspect it is DX9 that is to blame.

I wonder if fiddling with Texture filtering - LOD Bias will have an effect?

Never worked for me over the years, but let us know if things have changed and you find a cure.:D
