SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS support thread
-
Pilots, SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS version 1.1.1.49 is published. Please try and report the result.
Note: since SimShaker checks for updates in background you will be prompted to update on the second launch.Guys, the issue with BMS shared memory reader is fixed in SimShaker for Aviators v. 1.0.0.25 as well.
Just for case someone here uses it. There is still no need to switch the software.

Iâd like to add SSA to my startup ps / batch script, but for the life of me I cannot find the .exe to use. The desktop shortcut doesnât provide much info, either⌠Iâd be thankful for any hints and ideas!
All the best, Uwe

Hi Uwe,
You can download SimShaker for Aviators.application file following the Update Information (see a screenshot attached) and add it to your startup ps / batch script -
SimShaker just reads BMS shared memory,
or does not read if outdated.
If BMS is hypersensitive to background apps, that seems to be out of my control guys.Just for the record a short update:
After updating to the latest version of Graphic Card drivers, YAME and SSA ,everything works fine together with BMS , I´m happy with it.:headb:Only with DCS (1.5 /2.0 latest versions) i´m not able to get it running

Thank you for the update.
There is an SSA dedicated thread at ED forums https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3039212 -
Just bringing this up again since RedDog mentioned it over in another thread: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?30241-Small-but-effective-idea
Some kind of tactile nudge for boom connect and disconnect might be nice. We said before that working of the indexer light bits in shared memory with using the Weight on Wheels bit to prevent from getting the nudge in the ground when turning on/off NWS. What do you guys think?Rhobee says he remembers feeling/hearing something when refueling the F-4, especially for hard âstabsâ but maybe not as much for the F-16. I feel like it wouldnât be realistic for hose+drogue but you could turn down for the gain/disable if you fly the F/A-18 a lot (not to mention DCS which would be different anyway).
-
This would an excellent addition to the software! I second the proposal.
-
Looks like we have all data needed to detect that nudge in the Shared Memory.
Well, I add it to my TODO list for this year. -
Thanks Andre, looking forward to it

Dear Friends,
Recenctly i started to build my viper cockpit and i must admit the jetseat is an excellent addition. It gives a great immersion feeling.
Andre is a very cool guy and always willing to help you with anything u may need. -
Finally got my JetSeat and I was wondering if anyone would mind sharing their settings for Falcon? Thanks!
-
Hi.
Here my settings for the USB mode at the moment. From time to time I adjust them for receiving bigger pleasure in case of a game. Still Andrey recommended the G-feeling settings of effect for USB of a usage mode of a vibrocape which suit me (cutting from a screen on the right below).
And generally you also will set up everything voluntarily. -
Thanks! Yes, I may tweak stuff a bit later but itâll be nice to start off with something decent!
-
When I tick the âUse my own .uwv filesâ option, it opens up a window asking me to browse for folder⌠what am I looking for here?

Please read this article https://dreamsimteam.blogspot.ru/2015/09/how-to-customize-uwv-files-for-gametrix.html

Thanks Andre!
Silly question, but how can I make the seat work with War Thunder?
-
Should work out of the box with 32-bit WT client. But FXs are not too rich.

Is WT 32-bit? Am I running 64-bit? How can I tell which is which?
Not too bothered about effects, just one of the games I play almost everyday and would be cool to get it working with JetSeat as wellâŚ

You can find that in WT Launcher settings.
