Great setup! Where do you place this monitor in your mini pit? I have a similar solution but itās situated to the left of my main single screen gaming display, Iād love to mount it in a more ācentralā location.
Cheers, Uwe

Hello. Here are some pics of how I set it up. It is kind of funny. My uncle entered the room when I was doing this and he was likeā¦. WTF are you doing .
Bought some hinges from the local hardware store and a 26 inch piece of wood I used for the base. Needed washers as the screws were too long. There are on 2 full turns of thread in that. Anyways works great and you can adjust the angle to whatever you want. -

One thing you have to do for a centrally-mounted touchscreen is that youāll have to RAISE your main screen up by a few inches at least. If you just rely on the normal clearance of the screen from the desk surface, youāll end up with a nearly-horizontal touchscreen and itāll be difficult to use. Raise the main screen by 6 inches or more and youāll be sorted. Or build a simpit

Got an IBM X200T around and thought I give it a shot. Sadly the program crashes at multiple points:
leaving the client->windows tab
closing and saving the gauge layout editor
starting the client (YAME window pops up fine, then crashes)Last entry in the logfile reads āFD/Texture connecting to serverā, depending on which options I use. Tried multiple combinations and settings with no luck.
VC, DX and drivers are up to date, AV and Firewall should not be a factor, system is Win 7 64bit
If it wouldnāt crash by navigating the UI Iād simply blame it on the old hardware and move on. -

- Windows aeroglass disabled might cause issues
- enabling ātrama S3TCā in OpenGl Texture compression might cause issues
- reported SLI issues
- AFR - Crappy FPS (not really sure why)
- AFR2 - Good FPS - No left MFD & RWR
- SFR- Good FPS - YAME rendering fine
-
Hi there, thx for the quick response.
- Windows Aero is enabled
- Never heard of āTrama S3TCā, never touched any graphics related settings. afaik C4D uses OGL and itās working fine out of the box.
- Itās a laptop with integrated graphics, SLI shouldnāt be a factor
The only major difference in software would be some Lenovo tools for better accessibility when used as a tablet. After 20 years of PCs I should have thought of this earlier, even though they run mostly quiet in the background.
Will do some tinkering with that and see what happens. If it helps Iām gonna report back, if not Iām gonna wait for some more suggestions.
