thanks for guam mod. very nice sight-seeing flying over islands.

Arguijan 3d island looks cool and real - but it only shows up/popup at closer distance suddenly.

sat image runway texture looks too rough.

some coastline/sea tile has dark sea, at southern part of Guam island.

encounter CTD when exiting TE saipan or tinian… 3 files generated.

thanks for taking the time to sight see!
As far as the Crashlogs they are generically auto-generated each time we start BMS. They have nothing to do with your installed theaters.
Your CTD upon exiting that did not produce a Crashlog is usually due to a bad model in the Database……I did not check the Database “On the way out the Door” as this is just a Dev copy.As far as “Arguijan 3d island looks cool and real - but it only shows up/popup at closer distance suddenly.”
I already knew.
I left it as a feature on an “Army Base” objective to demonstrate that these features need to be on an Airbase or Bridge objective type.
Tile spanning or something of that sort in the CODE.
I put it back to an Airbase objective and it is now fine and better…HEH…heh…heh…!!!
Sat imagery was from 2012…we had better but I lost them on a burnt HDD…Vag’s has compiled some new imagery that should push us forward with the new POC of how we do terrain in 2017demer

It took a Falcon minute……chuckle!!!
The attached images are straight USGS dems (free use) converted to Falcon using FIVE tools…a little sloppy, I admit…LOL!!!
BMS boyz if you read this …pleez just give us ONE tool to do this…ROTFLMAO!!!EDIT:
All five islands are now roughed in…using this technique.
And saving the best for last and yes I spent a lot of Polys on it……but heck if we can have a 100,00 poly carrier why not…LOL!!!
Since the start of Guam I have always wanted us to fly out from Andersen AFB with the cliffs to our back as the Art work in theater depicts. The L2 prevented this and I tried MANY ways in the past to overcome the limitations presented.
Consider those limitations a thing of the past going forward……;)njoy the pic’s

Been a falcon Minute, I know, here is what has been going on:
AAFB is HUGE and it is taking a minute to do. BUT the end result is beginning to get astonishing. Not only in LOD but also FPS.

Well about the Guam NavAids, I had created 2 versions. One for Alpha and one for Beta.

I don’t remembered to you released the Beta version, so still in my hands its NavAids…

You are welcome.
Now be sure that you have the Alpha version of Guam theater.
Simply check that there is the airstrip Nas Orote (at 8 NM WSW of Guam Intl. airport) into the theater.
