YAME64 suite

Thanks everyone for your help,
Unfortunately I did not have restore point turned on so I did not get a restore point created.
What Iโm going to do is to reinstall windows from scratch. It shouldnโt be that hard since I use this rig only for BMS.
Again, thanks everyone for your input.
PikaCreator update changed on my PC firewall config that stop YAME traffic.
check it well, check admin permission before a radical win reinstallโฆ -
For many years i used MFDE worked always great and it still does
Today i installed YAME64 on my new system. I5 6600k, GTX1070 8GB, 16GB Memory, falcon maxed out,
I must say GREAT piece of software :headb:
With 2 projectors for the mainscreen (2x 1920x1080) and 2 MFD screens (1024x768) i get a framerate in bms with targetpod on of 100fps !Thanks for your time, effort of this great software !:bowd:
Greetings Martin

Running (a more recent version of) YAME on the creators update perfectly here.
Whether you have restore point on or not, you should be able to revert to a previous version of Windows. Start > Settings > Update & security > Recovery. Click the get started below โget back to a previous version of Windows 10โ.
Not sure of it will be flawless of courseSent from my LG-H818 using Tapatalk
Thanks Scorpion,
I was able to revert to previous version and therefore avoid reinstalling windows.
Now YAME is working as before. I still do not know where the problem is though.
Thanks for the help!!

Hello Ulti,
Very nice pit indeed. I want to follow on your footsteps!!I used to use MFDE but found that YAME is so much stabler (in my system at least) and the Clock option was what won me over!! Eagerly awaiting the next version!
So now I use it on my main touch screen and then I extract to a second computer for additional Map and HUD extractions as well, and the best thing is very stable and low on FPS hit.I am embarking on building my own pit. The idea is to build it and install it on a 6 DoF Stewart Platform eventually.
Maybe a pipe dream but I know is possible.I am having a hard time deciding how to build the frame first. Like you, I want to do it from MDF. I have access to a CNC so I know at least I can get that going.
If only I could get my hands on a good set of CAD plans.
Any ideas?Pika
PS: Iโve tried several times to join Viperpits.org. After answering the tricky questions, they tell me that they will contact me by e-mail.
I havenโt gotten a response yet. Do you know anybody at viperpits.org that could help?PPs: Never mind about viperpits.org I just found out about contacting Romanski

Very nice MFD and gauge extractor. Looking throught the manual I didnโt notice if there was a way to resize gauges by dragging them or is just a pixel resizing only?

Yep there is, go to Client, Windows, Select the window, and hit edit gauges.
This will open the window like you are extracting but they will all have labels.
Hover over the gauge, and you can click drag with mouse or use arrow keys to move it around.
Hold down ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel to change size in X, shift and mouse scroll will size y.
Esc key and save will close. -

A labor of love for the Sim and community, definitely!

Well I was able to get Yame 64 going however my MFDโs, RWR and DED will not show on my screens. Everything else does. All the center console gauges, engine data and caution panel. Any tips?

You should give some more informations, like if you are running yame as standalone or in network configuration. Are you usungbhook or not, and better to send your layout xmlfile.
-
Iโm using yame standalone and Iโm not using hook. Should I be using it? Iโll post my file shortly.

If you are not using hook be shure to have rttexport enabled in your falcon bms.cfg.
For the config sorry, i was wrong. I need yame64.xml config file -
This one?
<apps><falcon><windowed>true</windowed>
<keyfile>-</keyfile>
<dtcfile>-</dtcfile>
<path>-</path></falcon>
<server refreshrate=โ60โ port=โ53000โ hookport=โ53100โ><exportflightdata maxclients=โ1โ>true</exportflightdata>
<exporttexture maxclients=โ1โ>true</exporttexture>
<keyserver>false</keyserver></server>
<client refreshrate=โ60โ runserver=โfalseโ><flightdata>true</flightdata>
<texture>true</texture>
<server port=โ53000โ hookport=โ53100โ>local</server>

<layout>My Pit2.xml</layout></client>
<app index=โ0โ><name>my pit</name>

<commandline><batchrun delay=โโ>false</batchrun></commandline></app></apps> -
This is the setting in the config file.
set g_bExportRTTTextures 1 // This enables the shared texture memory area for HUD/MFDs/HMS/RWR/DED/PFL. This is independent from BMS external window usage
set g_nRTTExportBatchSize 2
