X-56 Microstick… TGP & STPT slew won't stop
-
Hi all,
When in AG mode, if I select STPT on the ICP or if I look at the lat longs they slew off target. This does not happen in AA mode (as verified on the DED). Am I doing something wrong?
I set the null zone for the microstick to small, but verified that the lat longs still slew.
If it’s a hardware issue, wouldn’t it happen in AA mode as well?
Thanks!

Try increasing the deadzone in the Settings/Controls/Advanced Controls/Avionics page…

Hi Bruzzer, my experience with Saitek has been with the x-55 and -65, but maybe I can help. Disclaimer: My experience with Saitek predates my use of the BMS Alternate Launcher. Give AL a try, for axis or key command. Also, I recommend using SST only as a last resort.
Firstly, I never got the microstick to function properly and consistently as the cursor with axis’. I mapped them as key commands to Hat 3 or 4.
Secondly, if you really want to use the microstick as cursor, try setting it up as banded with key commands.
Thirdly, one Saitek trick I learned the hard way is that they can get wonky with combo commands(ie: shift + up arrow for cursor up). Try remapping the key command to a single key command. The ",:,>,and < keys are useful for that.
I hope that helps

JoeSorry to say but as a long time Saitek user X52 and X65F for me it’s just the other way round using the ministick as real axis for cursor slew has given me always better result than to set them up as bands with keybinds. even more with the indtroduction of the exponential curve feature for Cursor X/Y since 4.34. Hello
I have got a X65F and cannot use the microswitch for the radar and TGP with BMS 4.35.
Is there a solution without using the bands, I am really interested in.
Thanks -

ThanksWhy can’t you use the ministick as axis on the X65F. Technically you can you just have to reorder your axis and basically give up one of your existing axis.
If you really want to use bands as for any Saitek Logitech Stick for using with bands use an advanced command with proper press and release. So Ie
Press Shift Arrow up with a 0.05 delay
Release Arrow up Shift
This will avoid having stuck bandsGesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
