64 bits crash on launch
-
Hi,
I akready talked about my issue , and I solved it just by launching it in 32 bits.
Now that I m really addict to Falcon BMS, I wanted to play with squads online, and I need a working 64 bits version.
I ve read lots of threads about it and I try every solutions I read, but nothing work.
My problem : When I launch the game with the launcher in 64 bits, I got directly a Windows Error Message.
I got an iMac 27", with bootcamp and Windows 7 Familly Premium Edition in 64 bits. (i5-4670 3,4Ghz ; 8gb ram; NVIDIA GTX 775M ; the game is installed on External HDD My Passeport Ultra because I don t have 20 gb free on main HDD)
What I already tried :
- desactivate intro movie
- desactivate Bluetooth
- unplugged all USB devices (just keeping keyboard, usb mouse, and External hard drive, all connected directly on computer, and also tried connected on powered usb hub)
- re installed 4 times Falcon BMS, even on another external Hard Drive
- launched it in Windowed Mode
- launched it in Admin Mode
- Cleaned all the Task Manager
- Killed the Nvidia applications in Task Manager
- stopped the maximum unnecassary services
- try to delete Launch.exe in Nvidia Profile but I canno t delete it. So I renamed the launcher in Launcher1.exe and still got the issue
- uninstall old Force Feedback driver
- desactivated Firewall and no antivirus
- desactivated drivers integrity checks (bcdedit set nointegritychecks ON)
Nothing works.
When I look in the eventviewer (eventvwr.exe), the problems seems to come that Windows can’t find the path to the software. Here you got 4 files :
- the pic of the crash dialog box I got when launching the game
- the pic of my Task Manager when I launched the game (even without all the chromes.exe)
- the 2 crash log it makes after each try
If you need the report files (Report.wer) or the Log in another format (*.evtx), I can send it too.
I try to be as complete as possible in my explanation, and I hoped that you will be able to help me.
Thanks for help

Would you post a BMS crashlog from its installation folder please (if you have one)? An example of the crashlog location:
\falcon_bms_4.33u1\User\Logs\2017-06-27_203644_crash.txt

Hi,
I don t have any BMS crash log because it doesn t launch the game.

heya
are you using the launcher located in the bms root
or trying to run the exe from the bin directorys ? as that wont work you need to use the launcherjust wanted to be certain
any modified files in the install ie key files ?
long shot but does your G drive have the read / write permissions set ok ?
delete the dx9display.dsp file
there was an issue with some app that NVidia installs as part of its install cant remember of top of my head what it was experience maybe ? i’'am sure a search here will let you know though -
I also cannot launch the game in 64 bit either. I am on Windows 8.1 Professional 64 Bit.
I run the game in compatibility mode under Windows 7.
I have no idea why I am unable to launch the game in 64 Bit mode either.

I already delete de dx9display file…. Same thing
I try with fresh install 4.33 u3. So no modified file. (when you say ie key file you don t mean Internet Explorer do you?)
HDD permission : i supposed it s good because i can read and write on it and it works in 32 bits. Where can I check that ?Nvidia I ve read about the expercience *.exe… I killed every nvidia app and services in Task Manager. I cannot delete launcher.exe nvidia profile because it s a nvidia profile and not a self made.
I thought about going to Windows 8 upgrade but it seems to be a problem too.

To delete the profile easily just do a clean install of the Nvidia drivers.
Other input devices connected?
Any force feedback devices connected?
Why didn’t you upgrade to windows 10?Στάλθηκε από το MI 5 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk

Just keyboard mouse and hdd.
I had force feedback but I deleted the driver files. For the moment Windows update would be last solutions. I need a working Windows for my job , I m afraid to get a lot of problem with my softwares or other stuff. But I m considering that. I hope BMS creator will fix with next update.

Hi,
I achieved to make it work …… But I don t know how .
I made some big windows 7 updates, it tooks a while. I also connected psvr to computer (secondary screen, so it lowered the resolution). It resets all the graphic card option. So I tried … and suddenly it worked. Hope it will last.
Maybe a missing windows update …
