Too much information

i’ll send it only if you tell us how the heck you succeed to break that one

It was a CATastrophe. I took it apart to grease it up, hung it over the edge of the desk while I nipped to the garage to get a dab of grease. Substitute “glass” for “throttle handle assy”, and you’ll get the picture…
Many Thanks Red Dog, you are a legend

Yep, having a pretty ruff time controlling engine rpm currently, but I’m sure everything will be purring along nicely again soon…

Just curious… where does that go in the throttle assembly and what does it do?

It goes on the end of the barrel near where the pot is. When the whole TQS assembly is bolted down ready for use, it stops lateral movement of the throttle in the base.

Its effectively a C-clip ring that serves both to capture the pot end of the throttle barrel from lateral movement, but also fits into the circular guide rail to keep that end of the barrel true in its rotation axis. It uses grease on it to provide smooth movements like a bearing.
