Sorry I have no skill in programming I don’t see how to declare an item in the dat file…But I guess we have some data experts around that could help.
I would say the more you do it simple the best it would be (A unique spoiler deflection trigered above a roll rate value ?) -

I see it ok m8.
Ptype 25 is correct. Double sided as you say not correct.
Maybe Alpha channel and opacity level. In general JUST WOW M8. looks awesome. Well done. Superb work.
Respect.

Nah it wasnt had to do with opacity. probably it was som mistake i did and it was completely Invisible for some reason. I use since the F1 ptype17 cause the reflection on ptype 25 sometimes is akward (u can see a tiny f-16 there lol ) Therefore it looks more realistic. Anyway i always keep backups and i deleted theese and inserted the old ones and looks fine now. so all ok…

The “signature” Airbrake is done

OK one more question. Is there a switch or dof witch can operate the Catupult thing in the front gear? In the greek version of course this will not exist but in the US i want to use it. Thanks in advance!

I’m not in a position to check at this moment, but while the A-7H may not have had this, didn’t the ex-USN A-7Es come with all the carrier features attached? I can’t recall if the catapult stuff had been removed from the nose gear prior to delivery to the HAF?

Yes both H and E at greek air force had them removed. My question its for the game if it works with a switch or a dof

I realised something; I though the outer parts opened into the slipstream not against it
That airbrake must be efficient !! -
Not sure if im getting it but i saw this picture and i mde it this way
-
no you made it right, I had a false idea and seeing yours corrected it

Yeah i also had i slight doubt when i saw Hasegawa’s Instruction sheet for their 1/48 witch i bulded twice… And its wrong it has the flaps opened and on their halfway meet with the slipstream. Yet its not confirmid 100% that they open this way or the way i did it the photo i just posted might be when deploying the airbrake and not when that is on full deployment, i mean during the movement…
-
Ah yes I do remember adding that brake on a 1:48 model I did many years ago. Doesn’t it completely disappear into the fuselage?

Actually is part of the fuselage. I can say it one of th biggest and complicated airbrakes i ever seen. Maybe the f-15’s might be bigger but maybe not i think they have the same length. But it is complicated in A-7 And rare to see over the internet in photos and i mean clear at least. The clearer i found was the one i posted. L.T.V. had made a good job making this plane! All the systems it had on the era it was made was extraordinary!

That’s an A-7D though loved those Guard Corsairs back in the day!
Are there any major external differences between the USAF/ANG D models and the USN/HAF E/H models?
If not then we could also use this fantastic model for an A-7D and incorporate Guard Corsairs in any 80s and early 90s campaigns? Can’t wait to see this thing drop a boat load of Mk82s in game!!!

Greek -E didnt had any difference with US Navy’s ones exept the catapult thingy and i think the Landing light. -H had some differences they didnt had the refueling probe and some systems wasnt in them, -D on the other side had some external (i believe internal as well) differences the rfueling probe also gone and they had a refueling door on the left upper fuselage behind the canopy and they had an IR (i believe correct me if im wrong) pod just under the intake. Those two for the D are easy to make and for H is easy also i will just delete stuff Oh and H and D had the old Escapac ejection seat as far as i remember. I dont know if in D they ever changed it…

That’s right, A-7H was pretty close to E navy’s model except the inflight refueling capability she didn’t have and an electricaly started gas turbine engine starter (taken from the D version)

Yes, except for the 16 first A-7D that always had the refueling probe.
and they had an IR (i believe correct me if im wrong) pod just under the intake.
That was the TISL (target indicator system laser)
