YAME64 suite

Thanks for the response but I got it working by simply starting over with “Morphines” Paddle shift profile. I think I had some keys that were conflicting with what I had Edited within ICE’s Key file. Maybe to many conflicts caused the key file too crash the .exe. I cant call it but if I figure it out or it happens again ill let ya know asap.

Can you post (or send me in pm) the yame log file? Tank you
Hello roccio,
well I pm you the log files.
It seems that models,
F16C 52M
F16C 52M CFT and
F16C 52 CFT zeus in latest IKAROS version have that problem. All other models work fine with the latest YAME update.
I can’t figure out if it is a theater or a model or YAME problem.
Thanks in advance, -

Thanks in advance,I don’t have that theater installed, but I can say (quite confidentially) that this is a YAME problem. YAME searches the correct coordinates for texture extraction in the 3dckpit.dat file relative to the aircraft selected.
Maybe the file is not found or the coordinates are off, to check I should install the theater and check in debug.
I shall add some logging to trace what the file is trying to load. Will add in our TODO list.

Feature Request:
Night time lighting for default/analog gauges (F-16).Not sure if this data is in shared memory (instrument & console lighting knobs), but perhaps a timer based on Falcon time-of-day to automatically swap the day/night gauges. Another option would be to ‘mask’ the YAME window with a green/red filter(?) No idea how plausible either are. But since CP60 and EHSI have the night option, hopefully it will find itself on the roadmap soon…
Thanks for such an awesome tool and the immersion is brings!

Night lightings is on my Todo list, but the problem is that there is no shared memory value for the internal light on or off, so it must be done with a yame callback. The filter idea could be good, very easy to implement, but don’t know the result. Will do some tris, thank you very much

hello guys,
I have a request. I have two LCD screens for my MFD’s and the left one had to be installed inverted to let it clear the Instrument Panel frame. Can you please make the option to rotate? This is a deal breaker for me, I can do it now in BMS extraction but I want to use YAME instead. I am stopped till then. Thanks!!! -

Thanks!!!I can add this feature quite easily, but in the meantime I think you can rotate the screen using just windows (there is an option to set monitor orientation under settings).

I had the same problem, fix is easy, just rotate and or flip the desired screen in windows as Roccio mentoned.

Hi guys, remember my old problem with the masking? Well, I’ve discovered something pretty astonishing, when I set the window width to 1919 pixels instead of 1920 and leave the height at 1080, it works fine! But when I set it back to 1920x1080 YAME can’t mask.
I have the screen resolution set in 1920x1080 for that screen, so I guess It’s not a configuration problem… What do you think?
Best regards.
-
I have tested it several times and it only works if I do the following:
- open YAME
- go to the windows tab and save the resolution (even if I don’t change anything)
But if I save the new resolution in the layout file, close YAME, open it again and try to run without going to the windows tab and setting the resolution again it doesn’t do the masking…
Thought I’ve found a solution finally…
Regards.

Thanks for testing. Will try to understand what’s going on …

Thanks, I’ll make a video tonight so you can see what’s exactly happening….

I think it’s related to the bug that makes BMS crash at certain situations where the yame window is the same size as the monitor and not when you change the window size by -1px.

Hi Greyfox
It also works if you reduce the height by one pixel , I set mine to 1079.
Its nothing new though see post 525 from White fang back in January.
I am surprised to see it still persists in latest version, I would have thought the devs would have cured it by now! -

Well up till a month ago 5 of us couldn’t replicate the issue.
I’m the first of the team, since I added a third touchscreen, that now encounters the same problem, so we’re looking into it. -
Yeah, couldn’t replicate this on my end as well despite numerous screens. Maybe have an option to export a masking file so others don’t have to do it?

At the moment I am trying to get my head round the additions to the CP 60 screen. You may hear more from me later if I get stuck.

Any idea?? ThanksMaybe the folder you have installed YAME is protected. Try to run YAME with administrator rights.
