YAME64 suite

Thanks, I’ll make a video tonight so you can see what’s exactly happening….

I think it’s related to the bug that makes BMS crash at certain situations where the yame window is the same size as the monitor and not when you change the window size by -1px.

Hi guys, remember my old problem with the masking? Well, I’ve discovered something pretty astonishing, when I set the window width to 1919 pixels instead of 1920 and leave the height at 1080, it works fine! But when I set it back to 1920x1080 YAME can’t mask.
I have the screen resolution set in 1920x1080 for that screen, so I guess It’s not a configuration problem… What do you think?
Best regards.
Hi Greyfox
It also works if you reduce the height by one pixel , I set mine to 1079.
Its nothing new though see post 525 from White fang back in January.
I am surprised to see it still persists in latest version, I would have thought the devs would have cured it by now! -

Well up till a month ago 5 of us couldn’t replicate the issue.
I’m the first of the team, since I added a third touchscreen, that now encounters the same problem, so we’re looking into it. -
Yeah, couldn’t replicate this on my end as well despite numerous screens. Maybe have an option to export a masking file so others don’t have to do it?

At the moment I am trying to get my head round the additions to the CP 60 screen. You may hear more from me later if I get stuck.

Any idea?? Thanks -

Any idea?? ThanksMaybe the folder you have installed YAME is protected. Try to run YAME with administrator rights.

Good response… now it’s working. Thanks

Very nice work! You make my two monitors(side by side:D) “homemade cockpit dream” comes true!:woohoo: Anyone knows is there any similar software in DCSW?

Hello Yame Developers,
I’m suspecting that a memory leak is possible within YAME. I use ICE’s profile which incorporates two screens on one monitor. When i activate the second screen the program’s memory usage starts rising. Now extra memory usage is expected, As there is the second screen coming on and off. However, even after i close falcon bms i see memory use rising, approximately 0.4MB per second. By the time i’ve typed so far it added 70 megs. Also i’ve seen up to 20% CPU usage.
Let me know if you would want me to report this in detail. Thanks!
Oh, forgot to mention: FPS on YAME window goes down to less than 5 when this is happening.
-
I started to use Yame when I downloaded Ice’s profile about a month ago. At that time I was getting about 60+ FPS. Today I updated my Win10 to the fall edition and guess what, the FPS dropped to between 4 and 10 FPS. I then reloaded the game with the only difference being that I did not use Yame and the FPS was 70. Obviously, you cannot fly at less than 10 FPS so my question is-is it me or Yame? I reloaded the driver software for the Nvideo card with no change in the FPS. Any thoughts?:mad::mad::mad:

Running BMS in fullscreen or windowed mode?
What are your YAME settings for the texture extraction, 3d hook?
Have you tried toggling the antialiasing setting for YAME?
Can you specify which nvidia drivers you are using now?Sent from my LG-H818 using Tapatalk

The screen with the gauges on them is running in fullscreen with visable, masked and antialiasing checked. The CPO map screen only has masked and antaliasing checked. What are your YAME settings for the texture extraction, 3d hook?
YesHave you tried toggling the antialiasing setting for YAME?
Not yet. Based on another thread, I am not using any antialasing from the video card, only from the game and apparently YAME.Can you specify which nvidia drivers you are using now?
Driver Version 23.21.13.8800 dated Oct 12, 2017 from Nvidia.I just ran BMS again but this time I unchecked antialiasing within the Yame setup for the right screen (gauges) and for the CPO and still got only 6 FPS. No joy.

My advice is to never update to the latest version of Windows right away, unless you like testing stuff for M$. I had issues when Win10CU first came out and I had to revert to Win10AE so I’m not surprised that people are having issues with Win10CU Fall Update. If YAME was working fine before, but it isn’t now after the Fall Update, then it’s clear where the issue lies.
-
I have temporarily put YAME aside because of low FPS and reloaded MFDe and placed the gauges in ICE’s Helios profile. I am now back to 60 FPS. Of course, I have lost the use of the map in the central pedestal. So for now, its MFDe until Windows 10 fall edition and YAME can play nice together.
-
Why not just roll back the update?
-
never did that and it sounds scary.
