More mission editing questions
-
1. Why can’t I load and save a TGP onto my aircraft? I am able to load the pod, but after I save the mission and exit out, it is no longer there. All other changes I make seem to stick.
2. How do I edit the starting position of a flight in a mission? For instance, I am editing a mission that already has the aircraft in the air at STPT 5. How to I change the mission to start on the ramp with systems off?
Thanks.

May have solved question #1. Seems you need to have a GBU or other laser guided munition loaded in order to install a TGP. Is this correct?

1. Load any GBU in the loadout. Even if not loaded you should be able to load the TGP, make sure you save the store config.
2. Just turn the clock in the upper right of the screen to a previous hour in the TE editor. -
Certain weapons force a TGP but you should be able to add a TGP otherwise. Loadout is locked at T-4:00.

You can’t save a TGP that is not default added.

I have started playing Command Naval/Air Operations. It is interesting some of the features of turn around time being much less than in Falcon 4 (and possibly in BMS).

4 hours seems a long time to wait when you want to change the munitions on a jet - however the argument above gives a good reason.
Note: i don’t think that we should adopt 4 hour lock down in BMS! This is a point of interest more than anything else.

Four minutes not hours
