Morphine's Profile

I have heard those errors are related to entries in the windows registry. Have you tried deleting and uninstalling target and the warthog drivers, then reinstalling. If that doesn’t work you can manually edit the registry, here is a guide. https://www.reddit.com/r/hotas/comments/5it8q2/solution_to_thrustmaster_target_software/ I will say it is possible to brake windows in regedit so do so at your own peril. Do you have teamspeak on your system btw?

I’d just like to thank Morphine for his wonderful profile for the Warthog HOTAS, mine is working a treat thanks for all your hard work.
I’d also like to share a modification that some people may wish to use for flying V/STOL aircraft such as the Harrier AV-8B.
I added the Vtol Exhaust Inc to the 2 0’Clock position of the TRIM switch, and also added the Vtol Exhaust Dec to the 10 0’Clock position, allowing me to keep my hands on the stick while adjusting the nozzles. Here is the code, its near the bottom of the Warthog_DX.key file.
AFElevatorTrimUp 0 -1 -3 0 0x0 0 AFIncExhaust 0 -1 -3 1 0x0 0 AFAileronTrimRight 0 -1 -3 2 0x0 0 AFAileronTrimRight 0 -1 -3 3 0x0 0 AFElevatorTrimDown 0 -1 -3 4 0x0 0 AFAileronTrimLeft 0 -1 -3 5 0x0 0 AFAileronTrimLeft 0 -1 -3 6 0x0 0 AFDecExhaust 0 -1 -3 7 0x0 0

Windows. MS messed with something in the enumartion process that has rendered target unreliable. Problems with axis and double button presses is most likely related to target not hiding the physical devices from the system.
You can check if this happening by running the script, then going to Windows start menu and running joy.cpl. If both the physical devices and the virtual device are there, then you’re going to have problems. The only reliable way I can run the script correctly is to restart windows then run the target script editor, hit compile and then it run. If I run any other program before I run target the script will often hang, but still run, though it won’t hide the devices. Which results in a faulty profile.
I wish I could provide a more reliable method for running the script but there is something going on with target, that needs to be fixed tby thrustmaster. So… crazy late reply. Sorry. Thanks Gastone. That seems to be my issue. Sucks. I’m way to lazy to try to build a new key map My BMS days are over unless/until TM fixes Target.

Turns out the problem was with teamspeak. See here for a fix.

The NVG is bit easier to handle I’ll show how to do it.
The chain makes both buttons fire at once, So change this
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, MSD, DX29, CHAIN( SCRLCK, DX29));To
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, MSD, 'PULSE+‘n’, DX29); -
Thanks Gastone for answer,
but i have this message after: “Compile Error:Syntax error: n in jomla script.tmc at line 120”

oops there was an extra character in the last try this.
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, MSD, PULSE+‘n’, DX29); -

Hi SageOT I had the same error; I fixes it by uninstalling the Warthog drivers and TARGET, dowloading the new versions of each, and importantly making sure your throttle and stick are not plugged in during TARGET re-install. That worked for me…

Sorry guys I have troubles with the profile…when I load it it starts then after a while in the Sim the axis stops working…it happens as I touch the throttle and so it is unusable.
It is not the only script that has the same behavior, but others are for Dcs.
I have win 10 up to the latest updates and the latest drivers and firmware for the warthog.
Can someone point me to a fix?
PS I see only thrustmaster combined in the USB control panel and I tried to uninstall and reinstall both Target and drivers

Hello Morphine,
I’m just wondering whether you’d be able to help me out with my HOTAS Warthog throttle. I am currently using your profile and it has been a great one for me and I appreciate the work that you’ve put into it. I’m using version 1.0 of your profile. Here’s my question:
What would I need to do to use the left throttle axis to control the two nozzle controls for the Harrier in BMS 4.33.4?
AFDecExhaust -1 0 0X57 3 0 0 1 “VTOL-Exhaust decrease angle”
AFIncExhaust -1 0 0X58 3 0 0 1 “VTOL-Exhaust increase angle” -
I used your profile for warthog.(…tmc).Everything is normal and every coomand works well but i formated the pc and then install falcon and target script editor. After apply your profile, throttle idle detent does not work.
Actually phscially throttle idle position (not full back just back) but in the sim setup, axis shows full back…
i mean that how can i add 5% deadzone ? your codes does not match the falcon i think…
i hope to say understandable…(sorry for language)…
Thanks a lot
i think this video shows more clearly … .

From what I see I your video,in the BMS control panel, the device selected is Thrustmaster Root. This usually indicates that there is a bug interfering with target. This bug is usually caused by teamspeak.
See this thread for solutions.

i solved it
HOW TO SOLVE ;
1-Uninstall Thrustmaster and saitek drivers (do not unplug the joystick throttle and rudder pedal)
2-Uninstall Target Script Editor and Logiteck (Saitek) Software
3-Unplug all devices (Joststick, Throttle and Rudder pedal)
4-Restart Computer
5-Install Thrustmaster and saitek drivers (The squence is firs TM and then Saitek)
NOTE : while installing TM driver, you have to plug joystick firstly
6-Install TM and Saitek SoftwareThat’s OK .

Got a quick question.
When I don’t run your profile with the TARGET software, I can select my rudder pedals in the advanced options. If I run the profile, I can’t select my rudders ingame.
What can I do to get them work with the profile? I’d have the TM rudder pedals.

Go check the thread below, Gastone has been keeping the script updated and has a version for using the rudder pedals. There’s a line that needs to be added to exclude them from the profile.
