Rampstart in the dark ?

LoL!
-
pssst… Don’t tell them either…. One lest thing they can break
Yeah, but then they drop the flash light or LED light, and I’m still spending 1/2 and hour upside down looking for the thing under the seat.
-
Stop it! your cracking me up!
-
jeez people, jsut use you flashlight on your screen damn it! !
You know now someone will ask you;“How do you turn that on?” And then they will say;" That does not look like my Mag light, it’s wrong!"
-
-
Thank´s for bringing some light  on this question !!
-
What’s the keystroke to turn on my flashlight?
-
Guys:
IRL the pilot is surronded by ground crew before engine start.
That means that no matter where the aircraft is parked, there will be some ambient light from a light poll or the dome shelter lights, for the ground crew to perform their PF checks.
Pilots do not start their engines in complete darkness. SAFETY FIRST !!!
Pilot do not start their EPU just for lights… especially not on the ground !!!
I will be upgrading the electrical system sometimes in the future, to be as close to real as possible without getting too technical. Now it is pending Boxer’s approval.
The aircraft battery can last 50 minutes in BATT during flight, according to -1 emergency procedures section regarding all generators offline.
The spot light is used during an emergency or during a night flight to read mission docs.
It is N/I in BMS AFAIK.
Any more electrical system questions ? -
-
there always will be…. it’s seems quite complex
Read -1.
All relevant info is there.
It is not as complex as it seems.
It is basically a tree with branches that acts as a fallback in case of failure. -
Ohhh no, poor Gusser!
But I found out, that in the tree hangs the flash light! LoL
Please no more stomach kills me!

Hi all,
I am trying to amend my touchbuddy profile to suit BMS4 but cannot find a keystroke for internal cockpit flood lighting.I have found for instrument lights…SH/CTL L .
This was flood in FF5 ,and instruments was SH/CTL I
Can anyone help -
look for
SimInstrumentLight -1 0 0X21 0 0 0 1 “LIGHTNING-Flood Consoles Toggle” this line maps it to plain f
-
Thanks Ninja you put me on the right track, but why I should put the instruction on plain F I cannot understand!
I have put the instruction for ckpit flood lighting on Shft/Cntl/Alt L and left instrument light toggle on Shft/Ctl L.
Whilst at it I noticed the wording in the BMS keystroke file was wrong as it had these two controls crossed, I have corrected it and also
took the oppertunity of changing all appearances of the word “LIGHTNING” for “Lighting”
The changes are as follows:-
SimInstrumentLight -1 0 0X26 3 0 0 1 “LIGHTNING-Flood Consoles Toggle”
SimInteriorLight -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “LIGHTNING-Instrument Light Toggle”Replaced with:-
SimInstrumentLight -1 0 0X26 3 0 0 1 “Lighting-Instrument Light Toggle”
SimInteriorLight -1 0 0X26 7 0 0 1 “Lighting-Flood Console Light Toggle”
See attachment ( if it worked)Perhaps the devs might take this on board for next update
-
no probs bud
i just set it up quickly here in my keyfile for posting offcourse set it to whatever you wish
glad it helped -
I know the response I’ll get is “devs hate wish lists” but I thought of a cool way to implement a finger light – bind a key to finger light on/off; when it’s on, put a small light source over the mouse cursor. As the user moves the mouse, a section of the cockpit is illuminated and they can see what’s under the cursor.
-
put the light on in your room so you can see the keyboard. Sorry could not resist, joking
