Pilot model fo F-16

if you read the readme.txt carrefully you made a backup of your files. restore them
I made a backup of KoreaObj folder and I removed 8018.dds and 8019.dds but now when I enter the sim I get the pilot’s body in black! need to do the changes from LOD Editor right?

Man, you had to create a backup of the files in Terrdata\objects\ folder, not KoreaObj (they’re just textures). I’ll find the default 82lod file and send it to you. Then just replace it just like the pilot file.

much appreciated bro and if you could add the steps needed you just made my day!

fantastic !

if you really want to quick restore the situation you could do the next step (only if you know what youre doing)
- export the bms key in your register to a file
- delete the bms key in your register
- install a new version in a Different directory beside the already installed version
- copy the Terrdata\objects\ files from the new install to the first version
- delete the bms key in your register
- import the first register key that you exported back into your register
-
Ok, I added 2 more links.
Check first post.

I vote for that !
The legs in the pit adds a lot of realism !!!
+1000!!! I really LOVE that !!!
BIG BIG THANK YOU!!! :D:D

a magnificent job thank´s
-
…. would be great to build an instaler/un-installer !
Maybe Bonduste could help you
-
Send me the pilot skin and I’ll take the gloss off for you.
-
The PSD is in the d/l link mate. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

IMO it would be nice to have a config editor option for this fix, as an option.
I’m rather reluctant to spoil my install like so many other sims and would like to check this out without smashing
a vanilla install.Well, will try it anyway, thanks

SERIOUSLY, ARE you SERIOUS??? You have porked more installs than the entire Flight Sim community put together.
Don’t lie, It’s the truth.;)

Well I thought I could fix it with the alpha channel, but it didn’t work:(
-
The question is, how does the BMS handles specular. Does it have one fixed value for everything or is there a way to change it for certain nodes.
I don’t suppose it supports specular maps… -

Lol…yep, somehow;)…that mod was not exactly difficult to install…
I like the looks, but honestly don’t really loved how my side panels are partially obstructed now. Sort of prefer Buzzz’ elegant small legs.
So I just kept the entire object folder as backup to switch back and forth according to taste.:D
Thanks PL_Harpoon!Cheers

Thanks Harpoon good job! knee pads are very usefull
-
i think this is brilliant but this should be done in close coordination with BMS team
because IMHO, this should be an aditionnal layer in the cockpit that could be switched on.off with proper Callback.
It also need collaboration for the kneepad

Ab Is on the case https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/entry.php?83-Pilot-model-for-F-16
for me with TIR it works well i can see the problems that might occur with peeps that dont have one though and a switch to turn it off/ on would be invaluble for that purpose
no real FPS hit for me with low/middle range specs see sig -
Well, I’m also thinking of one more way.
A 3 choices in config:
- clean pit
- just legs
- body with legs
That would be helpful for those who don’t want to lean to see all switches.
