Speedbrake switch
-
Hi,
I would like to know if I can with DX programmation and BMS Key File Editor use :
SPB forward : open speedbrake
SPB middle : close speedbrakeon the throttle of the TM Warthog
Thanks a lot

In your keyfile find the following lines and change them to match this:
AFBrakesIn 30 8 -2 0 0x0 0
AFBrakesOut 31 8 -2 0 0x0 0Edit: This is assuming your joystick is the first DX device and the throttle is the second.

ok thanks a lot !
and can we in DX add a switch button ? to have multiple function on a button ?
thanks

You can add 1 shifted layer to the joystick and throttle that will allow 2 assignments on 1 button.
Search the forums for Pinkyshift, you can also reference BMS Key File Manual.pdf located in x:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Docs\Key Files & Input
Section 7.4.3 covers the shifting function. -
ok thanks Iβm trying to use BMS key file editor.xls and I saw shift layer
but itβs not simple to use
-
I almost achieved to use this extraordinary excel sheet !
Is that possible to use the warthog coolie switch with this file ?
thanks
edit : and the code for what I wanted is :
AFBrakesToggle 38 -2 -2 0 0x0 -1
AFBrakesToggle 38 -2 -2 0x42 0x0 -1 -
with speedbrake button, the open (aft) position is springloaded to off (center) and allows the speedbrakes to be incrementally opened. The closed (forward) position has a detent, allowing a single motion to close the speedbrakes.
but how to do with New Launcher & new TQS of Thrustmaster: currently when I release aft position, the speedbrakes are closing instead of staying in the opening released position
