Lorik's Korea 1.11 and Lorik's Balkans 1.21 feedback, time to unsheathe your gun.

Hey all!
We’ve never been that close to 4.34 obviously (as we never move backwards in time). With the new version will come conversions. I’m starting to seriously think about how I will react it - which I will really know when I realize what’s exactly inside and how easy conversions are.
Before adding anything, I’ll first say I have NO clue when 4.34 is out and what the progresses are.
I’ve never had a negative comment about the theater mods I shared, still in my signature (the Lorik’s theaters), and rather a good deal of positive. That’s simply, I guess, because people love BMS for what it is whatever the theater is, and won’t bother with coming to anyone saying they think their mod is crap.
I’ll need to know what’s been a problem to the people using it though - and not just that of course, what they appreciated particularly, what they didn’t really try to get a benefit from, what they’d have wished to see in it. That’s why I’m making this thread. No poll, no vote, but yet I can try to ignite the process by mentioning a few things.
1. I tried to make all my campaigns very short, 7 days maximum. Is it consensual that people hardly enjoy the same save line exceeding that duration?
I even tried to make way shorter ones, 2 days, 3 days, to keep the pace up, and keep the scenario interesting for an Air Force commander or pilot until an outcome is reached.2. I systematically restrain the available weapons, because I have the idea both of a challenge and a change in these campaigns, removing “easier” weapons such as most JDAM and JSOW, for example, from the aircrafts in the native campaigns (you can add Norwegian F16 with untouched loadouts…). How is it received? As a pain, or a stimulating environment? (This also comes from the “feeling”, not to say the fact, that HARMs are overpowered in BMS at the moment)
3. I recently updated the mods with modified IR SAMs, to make them way less deadly when flying very low and very fast (or VERY low at any speed). That was to simulate the fact you can’t reasonably shoot an aircraft coming from nowhere in the last seconds of her pass. What about that, tested? Approved? Bothering you?
4. I tried different kind of campaigns, either covering the whole battlefield to create many interesting situations for the dynamic engine to process (Baba Yaga), very limited area against a Fort Alamo REDFOR (King of the Hill), asymmetrical engagement (Corridors of Death), Defensive + area specifically designed for low level strikes (Gate Unlocked, Operation Yin Yang), and scenarized invasion of the whole Korean peninsula requiring a lot of manual fragging (Operation Poseidon). No one will complain from diversity, but which ones attracted you the most? Which results our outcome did you get that influenced your appreciation of the campaigns?
5. I shared, in a private and limited way, a mod for Israel (never told the team, was very restricted share). Only a couple of my friends tested it (maybe). It was just one campaign finished, for totally asymmetrical engagement, rather trying to reproduce real life situations of monitoring terrorist attacks and spotting dangerous convoys. BMS is not ideal for that kind of things, so I really played with the Editor there, to make it interesting and difficult enough. Anything to say about it? Time to.
(I stopped developping there, because I had very big troubles with the second campaign I was trying to work on, mainly due to troop movements)6. I tried to play with AI’s settings for its altitude when using weapons. Anything to say about it?
7. I integrated Kaos’ (luke777) modified Harrier loadout. Tell him, he’ll love you for that. I also changed the Mk2D’s loadout to allow a third, even a fourth (without a pod then) GBU-12. I think it never got operational, but was actually an idea that was worked on in reality. Any comment about that welcome.
8. Drive out from these trails and say what you have to
Cheers,
Lorik

Well, have you ever noticed that “WHEN” someone makes a negative comment about someone’s theater work, that people lose their minds??!?!?!?! I can link you to some threads if you like!!
