Falcon BMS KneeBoard UPdater

What ? He didn’t pay and he want’s a working update?
Continuing the joke from the other thread…
at what point in my post did i " ASK for an update ". all i said was what i had to do to get it to work. Your right i didnt pay for either of them nor would i expect either of them to be updated so that i can use them. Bad part is Falcas has updated his but the knee board one does not seem to work very well with windows 10. I am currently downloading a bunch of things trying to fix the stupid error the person above got.
Falcas just an update for you, i tried it out and it worked. Ty for the update.
As for the knee board updater it seems for me at least to get rid of the errors i was getting i had to uninstall .net 3.5 and 4.5 and then reinstall them. Seems to have taken care of the issue for anyone else who may get these.

Sirbum69 the post was a joke.
Your post just triggered the joke.
You never asked for anything.
Nor your post was offensive or whatever.Just a joke to smile and laugh.

So I hope you didn’t raised the prices much… maybe soon I will ask for some new stuff from Falcas.
Got the spirit?
-
I just update my knee boards manually with paint.net now.
-
Is there another link to the program, as the download from Mediafire keeps timing out/unable to download.
Thanks!
-
Just use Weapon Delivery Planner, it’s even easier.
-
Thanks I got it working soon after I posted the question.

Why want you use this? WDP have it’s own kneeboard updater, the last version came out couple of days ago, solved the kneeboard export bug.

Hello,
one reason could be, that the Kneeboard Updater can select his own files. If you have personal jpgs, you can put them into the cockpit. The WDP can only update
his own screens. Or is that wrong?Regards
-
You can use WDP - it has an option, on the “Data Card” Tab, to “Upd Kneeboard”
-
Used the WDP for the knee board for this the first time today, what a huge help it was, thanks Falcas!
-
In addition to WDP. I currently build a Helios Profile that acts as a flippable Kneeboard that can be toggled on and of as overlay over the BMS window. With the WDP setting for save Datacards to A5 and Helios naming the Profile gets automatically updated from WDP

Sounds really what I’m looking to do… Never used Helios - any guides? Or able to share your setup?

Will share the profile once I have the bindings setup. Helios is intended to use it’s profiles on a secondary monitor preferable a touch screen. The request I have is to build a profile the overlays onto the primary window running BMS without having a touchscreen.
The issue with Helios is that I doesn’t have the possibility to work with keyboard commands as input right out of the box. The profile is currently only working with HOTAS or mouse as input. I have a workaround to make it work with keyboard commands as well but that needs additional software vJoy and JoystickGremiln to be installed. Once I have that tested as well I will release a that Helios profile -
Just a quick Demo of the WIP Flipable Kneeboard over BMS main window dynamically filled with DataCard and Map from WDP.
Show Hide works from within BMS (windowed mode) so no ALT + Tab. Currently testing different methods (Keyboard, HOTAS Binding) for activating the overlay and flipping up and down.
