Hello ^^ Thank you so much, Janhas
and I installed F-16 BK50 mod yesterday. It’s really nice skin and thank you again.
But I can’t see other flight’s landing gear wheels in multi campaign T.T
-
Working again. I probably was uploading new files to the server.
Yep , it´s working . THX a lot Jan
-
Followed every step of installation as described in manual provided by JanHas. Every time same result. Completely messed up textures! Tutorial video would be appreciated!

Did you remove the textures that have the same texture numbers as my texturs from the Hires folder?

I can’t see the attachment… but here is my guess…
UNCHECK “Same Acdata Files Required" option in the BMS Configuration screen (launcher) if you want to fly the models in a multiplayer environment.
I assume you did copy the fm/afm to the acdata folder… -
So if I understand well, with the new installation method for mods we can go over 2gb file size ?
Yes!

I have put a v2 of the CM-50 model up. It has a fixed 148th FW texture.
And I have also released the CM-40. I have added the 412st and 175th FS skins to the package. For those who are interested in the old Aviano seehorse tail, it’s in the extra tails folder.

Hi Jan. Thank you for your outstanding work.
Quick question: are your other models (chiefly ALW) compatible with 4.34?

It seems that this pictures are more sharpen and better than ever for your models.
It’s just a graphics card on your end or did you optimize the models for better 3d shape?
-
It’is Rock Jan! Thanks.
I tried my own update metod for loading it simply. (There is not export or rebuild!)

Picking a good angle when taking pictures is one step. I also swapped CIRRCUM.DDS and CIRRSTRAT.dds.old for empty textures (weather folder). This gives a much better lighting (brightness) to the scene.
The models also have better parts. A bit smoother canopy, nose RWR as part of the aircraft model and not attached to it in a separate subtree part for example.

Good morning my dear friends, so LOD not needed for 4.34?

Assuming you mean LOD Editor…Nope, it’s not needed. The new method of incorporating new 3D models is so much quicker and easier

Jan outstanding job once more! I will be waiting probably to have full F-16 package now that we dont have limitations in the size.
I remember well that you asked for a JFS door dof or switch? I was wondering maybe we can trick the game to use other dof? something else? -
I’ve uploaded a new v1 of the CM-40. The model names were not the same as in the PARENT.DAT file needed for install.
For those who have downloaded the package already; rename the models into Model_0/1/2/3.lod (like in the parent file). Do NOT rename Model_0 into LV4_F-16CM-40_LOD1.lod etc. in the PARENT file because when you extract the db again the models will be named Model_x.lod and that will differ from the names in the PARENT file.
F-16CM-52 is next to be released…

I was wondering maybe we can trick the game to use other dof? something else?I have thought about that but at the moment there is no dof/switch that might do the trick in some way. Those doors only have to be open a short time during engine start and not be working when shutting down. Very difficult to get that one working…

Keep in min that JanHas models are bigger in size than stock models, e.g. ~3 MB’s vs 15 MB’s. Practically if an idividual tries to install most of the new models then the db will pass the ~2gb limit and brake, if the old rebuild algorithm / method is used. I haven’t test it thought for obvious reasons…
Raptor. Make a backup and try. I think that just the game doesnt read the bigger db(old) in size so converting it to new one for 4.34 again i assume you won’t have any problem. I broke my Db in .33 many times but i could still ad/edit or do things with LE but the game simply didnt start (my poor mind says that of course i might be wrong) so doing what Starrats said might do the trick (use the editor)

Maybe use somehow the simulation of the hydraulics in AFM equiped models? i mean TEF/LEF dof or Stabilator? i did a Rampstart and before the hydraulic pressure those where “dead” as soon the hydraulics got up they where in normal position… Think about it maybe there is a way

Did everything as in instructions. Reinstall the game four times and do all over again, but same result. Textures completly messed up. Short video of the process would be helpful. I obviously do something wrong in some part of the procedure. Thx!

Thanks Jan I have installed my first LV4 very good job

Only one thing the AN/ALE-50 looks too big
