if you mean the 2d planes and units and stuff yes, it’s doable but it will take some time… all the graphic UI can be changed anyway it’s not my “area” Z can response on that

Geez…I’m not “ignoring” you, I just don’t have an answer yet. Look on the first post, you see my name under all those headings? That’s because I’m doing a lot by myself.
I’ve tried green and orange in the past on the standard map and they resulted in low contrast and they were difficult to see. I have to experiment with different map colours to see if I can get the units to become high contrast against the background and that takes time and is a low priority issue until we work out the rest.
Right now, the colours will remain blue and red - good guy/bad guy or nato hardware vs. russian hardware or blue pill vs. red pill or what analogy you might think of.
Best regards

k Thanks for the answers guys,
and is there anyway to change them ourselves ? like with Tacedit or whatever ?
-

They are unit icons and they are stored in .idx files and have to be unpacked/altered/saved with the UI Resource Tool by Khronik: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?7378-UI-Resource-Tool
Sometime in the future Tunechi, if you like I can help you with it if you need help.
Tunechi, I thought you meant the icons for the OOB. Since you were talking about the 2D map icons, yes that can be done with TacEdit.

@RAM22:
No TacEdit cant do that. They are unit icons and they are stored in .idx files and have to be unpacked/altered/saved with the UI Resource Tool by Khronik: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?7378-UI-Resource-Tool

Very nice Zelegend, those modified maps along with your UI screens really make the 2d shine and stand out. I really have to complement you on your hard work. You are producing such complete package for theatre, that it could be the new gold standard for which others are judged.

Awesome work ZELEGEND. And others.

Contrasting colours make for easier to read maps - these are not greatly contrasting colours. What’s wrong with Blue and Red? Someone being bored is hardly justification for making things much more difficult for others. My £0.02

Green = Pakistan flag
Orange = India flag
It just makes more sense IMO. And being the only one that posted that doesn’t mean that I’m the only one that thought about that.
Anyway they can provide a file for Orange/Green units & Blue/Red units, just like Aegean theater makers did.
And Green/Orange units are contrasted, not as much as Blue/Red but still and surrounded by a black line so I really don’t see the difficulty here. -
I agree… Using country flag colours to decide on icon colour is the best route to take… When doing theaters like this, having blue and red used for friend and foe creates too many disputes; as we all symbolize red for the “bad guy”. Then there is the case of Aegean where blue and red best represent the nations flags by colours, and again have insulted some members… Well you can’t make everyone happy… But if we can just agree with using colours that best represents the nations flag, we can maybe not start an out cry if someone uses a red icon symbol when the nations flag is mostly red. Just my opinion.

Is there anyone willing to model the PAF UCAVs and Indian UAVs?
