Is it possible to run BMS 4.34? mine is not working.

Is it possible to run BMS 4.34? mine is not working.
Yes, it works fine.
The only problem I found was that it is hard coded to look for the BMS 4.33 versions. If you also have BMS 4.33 installed it should run OK but will search the 4.33 folders for the BMS KeyFile.
If you don’t want to install BMS 4.33 in addition to BMS 4.34 then just add the following registry key using regedit:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Benchmark Sims\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1
baseDir=C:\Falcon BMS 4.34 (change this to reflect your own BMS 4.34 install path)Then select version BMS 4.33 U1 in Falcon MFD and it will search for the BMS KeyFile in the 4.34 folders and stop complaining that it can’t find the correct version of BMS.

Sim, funciona bem.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Wow6432Node \ Benchmark Sims \ Falcon BMS 4.33 U1
[/ QUOTE]
Thanks for the guidance. I added the key as it said, but to no avail. Still not working. The msg that appears in the Tablet App is: Connection Error with Server. I think I made the right setup. Well I already used this program in the other version and it worked right. Ips are correct. even so it does not connect.

All I can say, if it’s any help, is that it works in 4.34 apart from the problem I mentioned so you should be able to rule out the BMS version as the cause.

Trying to run it on a touchscreen connected to the same computer i run falcon bms on…
I’m using an android emulator. The mfd’s, the ded, and the rwr are all receiving data and seem to be workin ok.
But when i hit a button offcourse computer switches focus, so my game window dissapears…
Is there a way to fix this? To keep focus on both? -
Great Tool,
with the registry entry had it setup in a few minutes for 4.34. Still Testing as a few callbacks are missing in my key file. But the main goal having a working ICP and MFD’s are working right out-of-the-box.
More over to mention I’m using a quite outdated Motorola Xoom2 ME running Android 4.04Regards oakdesign

The server program has no data in the input window if I push any app buttons even though running as admin.
Basically server can communicate with app but app cannot communicate with server.
Believe it is likely to be a windows permissions issue (but I’m running admin) or firewall (but I let it through my windows firewall as a private network). Any ideas?
- running 4.34 with registry fix
- MFD screens are working (very smoothly I might add)
- key file is reported as no errors (none missing and no duplication)
- using keys as per first post
- after that noticed some keys for falconmfd only were 0x0 so i changed them to 0X0 (copy and paste to separate file then find replace and paste back in still no dice)

are your IP address in the same domain?
i.e. it only works for me if they are both 111.222.333.xxx
(111, 222, 333 and not the actual numbers, but both server and client might need to be the same - or it may be a specific network thing)
-
Do you have any entries showing up in the Incomming Msg. List in the Server program. Such as
192.168.1.131 -> (SimICPTHREE) Num3
192.168.1.131 -> (SimICPCom1) F1if not check the Android App Log from the Menu LOG in the App to get further information whats going wrong

Thanks but no none incoming.
Tons of java null pointer exceptions to bitmaps (over 50?) in the log file
I tried in the app to send an email of the log but it crashed.
I have a rooted Teclast T20 Android Tablet.
Only permission falconmfd has in apps is storage.

Ok it works!!
IP address was wrong on the app.
Thanks guys don’t know how I missed it, silly me.

Thanks to make your Code open source. I’m the first who forked it :D.
Nevertheless I have your app and Server running with on Win 10 1909 on a Motorola Xoom2 with Android 4 and BMS 4.34.2 and it still serves perfect to my needs
