Force mod of choice in 2020?
-
I snagged a free cougar last week and I was wondering what the force mod of choice (if any are available still) is nowadays?
I looked at the FCC3 but it appears that the Vipercore website is no longer operating with a ‘Due to personal circumstances, webshop is offline. See my message at www.viperpits.org’ message in the information (although I couldn’t find any message on the mentioned forum)
The Vipergear VFS looks to still be operational (the owner I have noted has posted on here recently.
Or it’s the FSSB if that is still operational also?any of you have any knowledge on these? thanks

I believe FCC3 and FSSB R1 and FSSB R2 are no longer available. FSSB R3 is Warthog. Vipergear mod has some pretty good reviews here, this might be the only option for a Cougar now, unless you can pick one of the others up 2nd-hand.

I see, thankyou sir

Did you just say…… free Cougar?

I have VFS about a year now, and without “commercial” I can tell it’s plain simple and working real fine … I’ve replaced all 3 pots X/Y/Z(thrust) … It is completely different story then pots … no noise , spikes , nothing …
If your pots are noisy , go that route and enjoy .
Cheers

My grandfather passed away a couple of weeks ago (98yrs old so a decent innings) so we were cleaning out the house
He had a boxed cougar, a boxed falcon 4 still in the clingfilm stuff, along with a fully non-deactivated Bren machinegun thompson smg, lee enfield etc lmao (those are being sorted)
all sorts of stuff up there.I also inherited his MGB GT with a v8, not the regular olds 3.5, but the old old LT1 from an 80s corvette and we haven’t finished yeh o.O
