Triple Monitor Woes.
-
Have been trying to set up triple monitor config using trackir but looks like i’m using a magnifying glass. Have turned down resolution in the set up but goes back to single monitor also tried moving trackir sensor further away but still get the same result. Any idea’s for a sollution/cure. Thanks.

What’s you FOV setting you have set up in Falcon BMS Editor? Migh be to narrow for you tri monitor setup

What oakdesign said is your problem, most likely.
Look in your Falcon BMS 4.34 folder, then User, then Config for “Falcon BMS.cfg”–open in Notepad and tweak these two settings. These are my settings for triple 27" 1440p monitors to get what appears to be a realistic fov—you can experiment to find what you like best.
I use a wheel axis on my x55 throttle set to zoom–-and the 115 is the default—120 the max—but it will still zoom in as much as you want for AAR, focusing on MFD’s, etc.

When I tried to open attachments came up as invalid.

invalid attachment !!!

I’m curious, does the above “Attachment 40072” and “Attachment 40073” show up as the actual attachment to the person that posted it? I see this failure a lot here, but attaching always works fine for me (from what I see)…

When clicking on link message ‘Invalid Attachment Specified’ Contact Administrator.

Happens sometimes here in the Forum the OP has to edit hist post reupload or relink the attachments

I’m puzzled. When I upload the images, they work. I can click them and they pop up. But when I return to forum later, same error you guys are getting.
Anyway–-Look in your Falcon BMS 4.34 folder, then User, then Config for “Falcon BMS.cfg”–open in Notepad and search “fov”–and then tweak these two settings:
set g_fDefaultFOV 120
set g_fMaximumFOV 140
If those are too zoomed out for comfort, you can tweak through some trial and error to get a sweet spot. I find that 120 in BMS and DCS seem to give as close to 1 to 1 realistic perspective that is comfortable.

Also if you can’t look far enough down in the pit, change set g_fViewlimitPitchDown 90.0 in the falcon bms.cfg file.

Heya, I have this config,
1……\FalconBMS\user\config\falcon bms.cfg// config.exe settings //
set g_fDefaultFOV and set it to set g_fDefaultFOV 126// Misc Settings (not available in the Config.exe) //
set g_fMaximumFOV 126 (150) // Limits the maximum amount that the FOV can be increased2. Open all the .dat files of the 3d pit planes you fly and increase the viewlimit_pitch_down value
….\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Art\ckptart
viewlimit_pitch_down 83.0
// Misc Settings (not available in the Config.exe) //
// Overrides all A/C viewlimit_pitch_down values from the 3dckpit.dat files, max. 90.0, only higher values take effect
set g_fViewlimitPitchDown 95.0 -
Adjusted to your recommendations, works perfectly.Thank you for your help, very grateful.
