How to differentiate between Covid-19, Common Cold, Flu or Allergies?
To make things easier for you to differentiate between Covid-19 and other diseases with similar symptoms, Please make use of this chart:
(Credits to the University of Alabama at Birminghan)What should i do if i get Covid-19?
"Although the news reports about Covid-19 are alarming, reports from China, Italy, the U.S., and elsewhere indicate that for most people, infection with the novel coronavirus is on par with getting the flu. These steps can help you know if you need formal medical care and, if not, how to care for yourself safely at home.Know when to seek medical care. The reasons to seek immediate care today are no different than they were before the Covid-19 outbreak. The severe symptoms listed in the table below suggest that you need medical attention. Otherwise, if you have a fever and cough or other cold or flu symptoms, but are otherwise healthy, are under age 60, aren’t having difficulty breathing, and don’t feel seriously ill, you’re better off caring for yourself at home."
"Consider seeking urgent medical attention (call 911 if appropriate) if you:- Experience shortness of breath (difficulty breathing) at rest or with simple activity
- Have chest pain
- Become confused or light-headed
- Have any other worrisome symptom for which you typically would call 911"

How do i protect myself?
Clean your hands often
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid close contact
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.
Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
If surfaces are dirty, clean them: Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection. For Information, Please Check these Links.

In many contries, like USA, Stigma’s Problem is starting to get notorious, It is cause by disinformation or lack of information, The main victim of this Stigma are Asian People, Even if those were born in the countries were they live, And this can cause a serious threat to society, Mainly, Because it can cause more harm to the people that the disease itself.Take care, And as always, Happy flyin’!

Take a seat gentlemen! the ACES II Ejection Seat is 25% complete!
PD: I’m modelling only what can be seen on the default position of the camera and the farthest position from the default POV (Camera Pan), So i have a question, should i model the entire seat or just the parts that will be seen?, will these affect UV mapping later?
PD2: The seat will be fluffy one -
Hi! I need some to test my pit in BMS, Though is not completed i guess it should be useful to test it and see how it looks, If someone can, Please PM me, the file is in 3ds (exported from Blender Just in case) so, i guess it’ll have to be coverted to LOD.

I think you should try to get your hands on 3dsmax 2013/2014, then install Wavey’s 3dsmax exporter plugin.
https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?6009-3DS-Max-Exporters-for-BMS
… to be able to export to .LODNice work so far, Rypley ! :thumb:
Keep the WIP pics comming, the community will be very happy for sure.
Cheers, :yo:

Well, since the start i knew it was going to be HARD, most people only know the newer C or D models, and take photos of those only, very few people still take photos of the A and B versions, which makes it very hard to find good photos online, but i still wanted to do it, call it stubborness or something, but i’m doing that pit!

LSHi, Lazy!, well, i do have 3ds max with the exporter but no matter how much the fellas here try to help me, i can never seen to be able to set a proper material for pit!, i believe a photo of it looked after exporting it to lod is still here on the thread, besides, i need someone that can test on bms, something i’m not capable of (to much things to do!!!).
-
Ha, we have all to much things to do, LOL.
Cockpit is’t my thing, but I can help you eventually in 3dsmax.
Atm. you don’t need to test something insim.
Things should be correct and working in OpenGLLOD viewer as a first step,
else all you get insim might be a CTD.I think either your materials and geometry ain’t set correctly to get the wanted PType(s)
or the textures ain’t in correct place to be shown in OpenGLLOD viewer. The first thing to try is to copy your texture(s) to the same folder where
your exported .LOD resist. Then doubleclick your exported .LOD or export to .LOD again and it should open
with OpenGLLOD viewer.
Does it show your texture on the model?Else …
Can you please post pictures of:- the texture you use
- the material editor with the texture slot shown
- a Summary Info Srceenshot from the exporter tool. (shown on export)
Cheers, :yo:

Well to be honest, no materials nor textures has been set for the model, hell, i haven’t even UV unwrapped the models yet! But i managed to get it working, i used a texture from a LV4 model just for testing reason (Jan dont kill me!!!) And then set everything as it appeared on the pdf i had from the first attempt and boom somehow it worked, only one time though, next attempts were futile, but I got what i wanted, i have a working model with a single texture, i might install the old 4.33.0 version i have somewhere and try to use the same procedure that metalhead showed on his video of how to add a cockpit, from there I’ll see if it works, but that’ll be for later on, if the model showed well on OpenGLLOD then I’m pretty sure it’ll show on BMS.
Anyways, i finally will try to make the throttle, which i had failed to make before, I’ll post some pics in a few days if manage to make it.
Cheers,
Ry. -

Cheers,

Little bit late than expected, but here’s the process i made of the left console, some of you may had seen it on the Falcon Lounge Discord in the BMS media section
Also, i decide from now on, 'll upload the image in 360, so if you want to download it and see the progress in a more interesting way, please be my guest!, though if you have a 360 viewer that can be embedded in the forum please let me now;)

Happy new year folks!
I’ve been remaking the whole center console for about 2 days now and I’m pleased to tell you that I’ve cleaned up the models and the overall tri count went from 309k to 253k and that’s only on the front console!, I’ve expect to have all the existing models cleaned up of unnecessary faces and parts that won’t be visible under any circumstances soon so i can jump onto the right console, wing models, and if possible, fully working arms that will move with the throttle and slightly with stick (it’ll be a feature you can toggle on or off in conjunction with the existing pilot model in BMS)
Anyhow, here’s a quick preview of how looks atm!
notice the missing stick, with those extra 50k tris, I’m planning to remake it and add much more details to it!
