Campaign stopped in its tracks

Hello! Just finished my first campaign on tiger spirit. all objectives are captured and I completed a mission and came back to 2D and the clock has stopped and will not continue on, nor will it give me any updates or tell me that I’ve completed it… any suggestions?

It is because your campaign has ended, just as you said. Check your logbook and you’’ likely see that the won/lost/tied category has changed. And do not be alarmed to see that it gave you a tie although you’ completed the win category of objectives, that is not unusual.

Hey, so that’s the thing… I have no change in my logbook. 0/0/12 is what it says. no medal for completion, and no news reports
-
Unfortunately the campaign objectives for tiger spirit have an issue that leads the end in a stalemate no matter what you do, if you see your logbook you have 0/0/12, so you have 0 won, 0 loss and 12 stalemates. You typically won capturing the objectives but in your logbook it will register as a stalemate.

oh wow, didn’t see your reply! thanks for making me feel like i’m not crazy haha
-
is there any way to fix this so I can get what I earned?
-
Unfortunately I made some changes in the trigger file, but no matter what changes i made, always the outcome would be a stalemate.

Seems so I also have had no luck. seems something code related?

Kind of ironic that we as the Falcon community have been having a debate about which sim is better, which I have not been a part of and won’t mention by name that other sim, and tout how much better Falcon is because it has a dynamic campaign that works, it works beyond belief in some ways, and allows you to even take full control and manage every aspect you wish to, but when you get to the end this truly wonderful dynamic campaign engine is broken in it’s final step. No medal for you, sorry. No promotion to Major for you sorry. Just go get the logbook editor is the solution it seems, reward yourself, and while your at it just promote yourself to the new rank available now in 4.34, Brig. General. Just kidding, hopefully all will have the restraint to not abuse the logbook editor. It seems you will need to be prepared to being the Master of Ceremonies for your promotion to Major and awarding of campaign medals. I would not want to be that person who doesn’t manage to find this thread, I hope that uninformed person eventually figures out why he can’t win a campaign and get promoted beyond Capt. after all those hours dedicated to learning the sim and winning a campaign.
As I mentioned in another thread related to this topic, I know the logbook editor is the easy solution for this issue, and I’m sure there are many more important things to be worked on. My guess is this got broken when the 3 new campaigns were added to to the stock KTO theater. Just a hunch, nothing other than that to go on. I had only completed one campaign since 4.34 was released and overlooked until now the stalemate being added to my record. I had made promotion to Major and above long before this issue became known to me so for me it’s not that big of a deal. I only comment on this on behalf of others who will painfully have to figure this out and find that the logbook editor tool is the answer here.
This topic will be brought up many times in the future I predict, until a general announcement is made or the issue gets fixed.

DCS? You can write DCS as many times as you want in these forums. Writing DCS will have no effect on your account, nor writing DCS will affect anyone’s life here. I actually doubt DCS ever was a motivation for banning or silencing people, only the behaviour of people talking about DCS, or anything.
No, I think DCS can be written safely.
I find interesting that someone could aim to finish a campaign in BMS for the fun of the medal or the number in the logbook. It was beyond my scope. The only real reason I ever had to quickly finish a campaign is to start another.

I’m solely a Falcon flyer, I know where my home is! I haven’t been flying/managing any of my own campaigns lately. Have been running complex TEs that will take 30 to 50 or more missions to complete. No medals or logbook stats to gain doing that. The only reason I’ve posted on this topic is I could feel the disappointment of the OP in his post, finishing his 1st ever Falcon campaign and having to come here and ask why he didn’t earn a campaign medal. I can remember the feeling of satisfaction I got years ago finishing and winning my 1st campaign. Hopefully that’s a feeling we all should never forget.

I understand your view. But my question is this: Do you play your campaigns as a 2nd Lieutenant or captain? i play these campaigns because they are fun. I also advance, which is nice considering that intrinsic and extrinsic motivations are what makes up the best games.

I just came here to say pretty much all of this.
I got the original Falcon 4.0 back when it was first released and flew mostly in a LAN squadron for nearly 6 years. We never managed to finish a campaign for various reasons during that time.
I then travelled about, selling my PC and TM Cougar, only getting back into Falcon late last year. It has been with considerable excitement that I was able to finally fly Falcon without all the old problems of lag and crashes etc.
I was really anticipating finally finishing a Rolling Fire campaign.
To get there last night and just have the clock stop, and a stalemate recorded against my pilot was … quite the anti-climax.
During the campaign I had flown 70 missions with 26 AA kills and 821 AG kills, 8 static and 8 naval, and just the one death towards the end as I had got complacent and hadn’t noticed that Russia had joined the war (lack of videos playing is reported elsewhere). I do take my logbook seriously. I suppose you could say that I treat my “pilot” realistically, just as I treat my ground troops realistically and try to protect them from harm as much as possible.
As far as the Events in the campaign, just before the end, Events 3,6,7,9 and 12 had been triggered, and at the end, Event 16 had been triggered.

Nicely done on completing and winning your RF campaign Pegasus82. I can understand your disappointment with the result in your logbook not reflecting the effort you put in to complete and win the campaign. I myself am at a loss as to why this issue, which has been known for quite some time now, has not been addressed or even recognized by the powers that be here. I wish I had the skills to solve this issue, unfortunately I am the epitome of the term “end user” I am somewhat of an expert on how to use the sim, but a complete novice when it comes to the inner workings of the codes and databases used. As I have stated before in giving my opinions on this matter I am sure there are more important issues to work on by the devs but it would be nice to hear that from those who have the knowledge to possibly fix this issue, and as I predicted this issue keeps getting brought up and results in a lot of disappointment for those not aware of this ongoing issue.
As of now the logbook editor tool is the only way to get your logbook to reflect what you have rightly earned.
