Kuwait Theater tester version 2 (434U1)

For those that are interested there is always the Gulf War Air Power Survey. Awesome report on the air war. Complete order of battle on both sides, a overlook on targets hit on which day and so forth.
Just search for the above title and you’ll find it on Google.
-
Absolutely! I’ll compile some stuff with sources for you. For the record I’m not an ODS vet to be clear, I was there in 2017 and 18, but most of my info comes from reading. The Air Power Survey is a fantastic resource as is The Air Campaign: Planning For Combat by Colonel John Walden III. Airpower Advantage: Planning the Gulf War Air Campaign 1989-1991 is a good doctrinal look as well. I’ll pull specifics for a seperate forum post, but @spGoro, if you’d be okay with it I’d love to help make campaigns for you.

Good catch this yours, mate.
It could be interesting… I’m curious, so I’m going to go and see what good could be there.
With best regards.

@DUSTOFF17:
Can you post that stuff in the forum anyway, would be curious to know your info!
Me too. So please do that, dear modelo, if you don’t mind of course.
With best regards.

Yes of course. Thank. That would be very interesting.
At the moment, the source of information on the basing of aviation at air bases is the Internet site: https://dstorm.eu/pages/en/menu.html -
I think Modelo was talking about this ?
It’s only the 300pg summary … but it’s a treasure of information . Ty , Modelo .

I have been trying to get ACMI to work properly in Tacview from this theatre.
I have added the following section to try to enable the Kuwait theatre map in Tacview but no luck so far.
Has anyone got it working?
Filename: C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacview\Data\Xml\Data-Falcon4Theaters.xml
Added section to <falcon4theaters>```<theater id=“Kuwait”><terrain>D:\Falcon BMS 4.34\Data\Add-On Kuwait\Terrdata\terrain</terrain>
<database>D:\Falcon BMS 4.34\Data\Add-On Kuwait\Terrdata\objects</database><lod>2</lod> <west>42.0325</west> <east>52.3625</east> <south>25.10</south> <north>34.31</north> <visible>1</visible> <timezone>+3</timezone></theater>

But the best ones are… always by dema’s, of course.
With best regards.

Observation posts are located along the Kuwait-Iraq-Arabia border.
Example:
https://bestmaps.ru/map/bing/satellite/18/29.27528/46.74642/personal/183903Now they are added to the campaign. Installed by coordinates from google maps.
Just Mirage planes

wow the modding is getting serious. great job.
BTW to have fun with F15, you need Manos’ F15 pit folder/HUD fix.
for F14, better use F18D 3d pit folder+F14 cockpit wing. -
Keeps getting better! Great work SpbGoro!
-
True, ccc. As all those before just don’t seem only to show…
Well done once again, dear Goro, that’s the only way.
With best compliments and regards.

Warm THANKS again for your work SpbGoro(and thoses who helped you for this theater)
; I re-downloaded it today , and I saw you made some subtle but greatly appreciated adjustments since the last time I tried ODS .
And many thanks too , for the Jaguar A sqn !!! (I moved it at Al Ahsa in the Save 0 , as it was based there , not at Jubail AB . I know you won’t take it bad because you seem to be looking for an accurate scenario .That’s why I add this precision, for your ODS to be again more greater ) . Now , my Al Ahsa AB is nearly true to life .

right got it installed, thnk you Pegasus, but it crashes to desktop weather i go through alt installer or go in to bms and select in there, pants.
John,
