BMS config doesn't show rudder pedals as an option
-
been looking for answers everywhere. My rudder pedals are seen by Windows 10, but BMS 4.3 doesn’t have them as an option (only keyboard).
They’re TM elite pedals connected to my Cougar HOTAS.

Are you seeing the pedals in the cougar control panel?
You have 4.34U4 installed, I assume?
Cheers, Uwe

first time install of BMS.
says 4.34 Build 19631 5.0 finalYes controller in the config is TM cougar. But under advanced there’s only keyboard and wheel/mouse for options under rudders

…so - there is a limitation in the number of inputs the Cougar Control Panel will pass to Windows (and I forget if that is a CCP or Windows issue) - you can configure and use either the pedals or the Cursor Controller in the CCP, but not both - due to this limitation.
I don’t know if you can get around this by using T.A.R.G.E.T instead of the CCP, but it could be worth a try.

It won’t help your issue (at least I don’t think so) but you should install Updates U2/U3, and U4 so you are on the same page as 98% here. Then it will read “FALCON BMS 4.34.4 (x64) BUILD 21393”…

Make sure your Rudder axis is not asigned automatically to “avionics controls” in Advanced options in bms setup.
That might be the reason, it happened to me a while ago. -
yea the Antena knob is assigned to that B3

You might also want to try one of these -
https://realsimulator.com/rusba/
The RUSBA will turn your TM pedals into a standalone USB device and you won’t have to use the CCP anymore. I have the TUSBA for the Cougar throttle and am very satisfied with it.

seemed to stumble on my problem’s fix after seemingly exhausting effort. In the advanced section one of the knob settings there had the rudder pedals set. When I removed them the pedals became available for the rudder axis.
